This product has helped to keep my expensive outdoor chair pads from fading in this hot, Texas sun.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by myrna UV blocker extends life of outdoor umbrella and blocks UV to people below
easy to apply to open umbrella and quick drying. I got this to protect a rather shear colorful patio umbrella and to block any UV transmission to people shaded by umbrella. It seems to do the trick but unsure how long it lasts before it needs recoating. I bring the umbrella in at night so it is protected. So far so good.

Its too early to tell but, of the things I do know, the sprayer bottle needs to be improved the spray comes out with drips, the coverage was fair I only covered 4 - 9 foot Umbrella's . The price was rather high compare to what you get and the amount of coverage you cover. I am going to wait and see if any of my royal blue and red umbrellas fade. Were going in to the mid 90,s for a extended time now, so I will be curious to see what happens.

Very disappointed. I sprayed outside cushions and they faded within a week

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RJA Good reviews, but time will tell
This product was purchased because of decent reviews. Time will tell how it prevents fading on outdoor fabrics. The application was not too difficult, but I agree the spray nozzle was not consistent all the time, resulting in a few minor globs. It covered an area as expected, or perhaps a bit better after I got the hang of the sprayer nozzle to get complete coverage.

I spent so much time and money on making new curtains, only to have them be ruined by this Ray Bloc spray! If only I could go back in time! It discolored my curtains so much! I had extra fabric leftover that I used the Ray Bloc on first to be sure it wouldn't bleach them or anything, and after drying, the test sample looked fine. So I sprayed all my curtains, only to find them yelllowed and splotchy an hour later! I started with clean, dry, fabric and followed the directions perfectly (even having them dry in full sun) so I have no idea what happened. But I am SO DISAPPOINTED and out about $150 and many many many hours of my time.
