I bought this on the online advice of others who have used it and was really disappointed. First, it took awhile to know how to use it correctly, e.g., getting the spray nozzle adjusted so that it didn't dribble out, but came out in a mist. The directions pointed to a nonfunctional website. I have white streaks on my forest green cushions. Worst of all, it just plain didn't work. When it rains and my cushions get wet, they're still sopping, sometimes for days. Should have stuck with Scotchgard.

I would have given it a 5 but the sprayer is a pain. It takes a while to be able to spray again, maybe 5 seconds, but when you are waiting in between sprays, that adds up. By the end of using it, the sprayer worked just fine, no more lag, but you should be aware that it may happen. There is no awful scent, but I did spray outside, but then you can't expose to elements, but they want you to dry it in the sun, huh? There has been too much surprise rain, so they are drying under a window. I hope this works, but it is truly a "time will tell" product. I will try and update this at a later date and let you know how it worked!

Before applying to our patio furniture I wanted to make sure it would not discolor the fabric, or change the overall appearance. I used a new dish cloth and applied Aqua Armor to one half. I allowed to dry overnight, and checked the appearance the next day. No change in color at all. Feeling confident, I applied the remainder of the product to our large patio umbrella and 6 patio chair seat bottom cushions.
Application was quick and simple. The spray bottle provides a good pattern and the droplet size is suited for outdoor spraying. There was a minor odor which could be smelled if you held the treated fabric up to your nose, but this disappeared as the fabric dried.
The next day, the treatment was put to the test when a visitor spilled soda on one of the seats. The soda beaded up and rolled off without soaking in to the seat. Very impressive.

Trek7 Aqua Armor is a great product. I was happily surprised. I have an outside table and chairs which I wanted something to protect the cushions from water damage. I’ve included some pictures. Notice that in the not-sprayed picture, the water is spread out over the surface of the fabric. The fabric is becoming damp. However, in the sprayed photo the water is balled up in little beads on the surface of the fabric. I was able to just shake the water off the cushion. The product is easy to use, at least during the summer. During the winter, you’ll need to do it in a heated garage since it must dry for 24 hours before being exposed to water. I’ve included pictures of the cushion before sprayed and after. The after sprayed picture is still damp from the application. Yes, I like this product and will use it on all my outdoor cushions. I am going to try it on tents, backpacks, computer cases, table cloths, and jackets.

If you have an outside awning, you must clean and waterproof it every so often. The hard part is getting on the top side of it as it covers the whole porch. Then you just clean it and spray with the Aqua Armor to protect it for a few more years.

One bottle of this waterproofer exactly covered the canvas convertible top on my mid-sized luxury car, and the waterproofing seems excellent - Water now beads up rather than soaking into the fabric. Be careful mask off areas not wanting this treatment, as it is hard to remove if splashed on windows or painted areas. Has not been fully tested over time to determine long-term durability.

I used this product on the outdoor cushions and tent that are located on my deck. The deck faces almost due south, so it gets a lot of sun all day. The average tent for us lasts about 2-3 years, not very long in my opinion. As a result, I ordered Aqua Armor to help it last a little longer, or at least prevent water stains while we have it.
Application was easy, just spray on and wait for it to dry. And, like the bottle says, there was no odor. Our tent is very large, so I used the whole bottle. There wasn't enough to do my cushions. It's been on for a few weeks now, and so far so good. Time will only tell if it will work over the long haul.
