Answer:
The standards are set up for 60" total height, but the steel standards are screwed-together sections. 60" was too tall for our location, so I left out one section, which made them just right. They also come with 4-legged ground anchors into which the sections screw. Since I have one leftover section for each anchor, I'll save them for a different use. Very sturdy.;

Answer:
the height varies depending on how many poles you install underneath the light. The box brings two lights and brings four approximately 14" ("guestimate" since I don't have the poles in front of me right now) poles - you can add the poles to make the lights your desired height. I used two poles so the lights stand at about 2 1/2-3 feet high.

There is one small bulb. They are strictly accent lights in my opinion. On sunny days mine do stay lit all night and put out enough light for my purposes, but I would not recommend then for path lighting.

60 in. Solar Garden Black LED Path Lights (2-Pack) is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 84.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive Used this to replace an older set damaged by hail. Posts on the old set were plastic, and larger. These are steel, and smaller diameter, but very sturdy. As they set into sockets in concrete, I had to use some PVC platsic tubing as shims to reduce the size of the sockets, so it was a bit more work, but they look very nice. They don't "glow" as did the old ones, as the glass isn't frosted, but rather throws a pattern of light downward. No matter, they provide light for the steps and are attractive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than most. Batteries don't last a year. The glass lenses look much more impressive than the usual plastic. The black finish does not hold up in the Florida sun. In 6 months, they've gone from black to charcoal gray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from garden path light All was well with 3 of the 4 I bought. Tried replacing the solar battery,but would only work intermitantly for a couple of hours

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value, but not brightest lights Lights were very easy to assemble and they are sturdy in that once you get them in the ground with the stakes they don't move much. They look very nice around my patio. However, I would not use these lights if you actually need them to light up an area -- they turn on every night but they only shine in an area that has about a 8-10 diameter directly beneath the lights and they do not shine very brightly. I was not disappointed by this because I was purchasing these lights more for decor purposes (and not to light up a patio) but I would suggest you limit the use of these lights for accent/decor and not for lighting up a large area. Definitely a sufficient product for the price! Will be buying two more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive Accent Lights, Multi Height Capability, Metal and Glass Assembly These lights go together easily and install firmly into the ground with a three prong stake. If you have very loose soil you'll want to secure these with larger landscape stakes as they are top heavy at full height. They take a day to charge in full sun and burn most of the night before the battery dies. The light they put out isn't for lighting the ground or shining up a porch, they are simply guide lights, accent lights. They shine about as bright as a tea light, which is a pleasing yellowish tint. They work great as decorative marker lights on the side of a porch, swing or deck, pathway, pier, etc. If you are looking for a light to read by or that shines brightly enough to walk by it's light, these will not do that for you. You can adjust the height by adding or removing the multiple threaded pole inserts. When the batteries finally die for good and cannot take a charge, the buyer can change them out for new ones. You won't have to throw away the light. Overall I quite like these and think a set lining the path to the house at varying heights would look great. I'll probably get a few more sets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work great I was so surprised at how they look and you can use the poles for any height. I wish I would have bought more. They are very bright and look very rich.
Date published: 2016-04-12
Rated 2 out of 5 by from rechargeable batteries do NOT charge Rechargeable batteries were completely dead and could not be re-charged. Additional cost to purchase new ones.
Date published: 2016-04-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pretty Path Lights Did not read reviews before purchased lights. I suppose other reviewers did not read Booklet before installed. Purchased 4 days ago and read the Booklet that came with it first. Suggested to charge batteries that came with lights, which I did. Chose height wanted lights and were quite easy to put together. Stakes were long and securely went into ground. After batteries were charged, assembled and placed in ground. Shine quite bright from pathway to porch. Up numerous time during night and they shone all night long and still do all night long. So secure in the ground wind, etc would not blow them down. Would "highly recommend". Very pleases with my purchase.
