Rough Heights

There are two "finishes" listed for this door. One is Bronze and the other is Copper. However the pictures look the same as far as the color goes, but the height is different. The Copper appears to have a height of 96 in. while the Bronze looks to be 80 in. Under Specifications, however, the rough-in height appears to be 96.5 in for both finishes? Can you clarify exactly how tall either finish door is, and is there really a color difference between the two finish options?

Customer Reviews

36 in. x 96 in. Copper Right-Hand Inswing Wrought Iron Single Arch Top Prehung Front Door is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hi Quality, Heavy Duty, Well Insulated, Worth Every Penny When the freight company delivered this door, it was 220 pounds; this is one heavy door. If someone would try to kick the door to break in, they would break their foot instead. Copper metal door is very well insulated (the glass too) and it has a beautiful finish, and an outstanding design. I like the fact that you can open the glass pane from inside, and the metal design on the outside will prevent anyone from getting in. I am very glad I decided to go with this door, versus a fiberglass or wood door. This door is worth every penny when it comes to looks and quality. I called the manufacturer (Trento) so I can fix some scratches on the finish, and the guys there were very helpful and they will ship me some touch up; they were quite eager to help. Home Depot does not have this in the store for viewing, but from many compliments I have received, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, well-functioning door once installed. Some unexpected discoveries which were disappointing. The door is gorgeous and solid as a rock once properly installed. However, the door and frame were constructed and drilled to accept only a deadbolt and large, heavy, solid iron decorative handles - no latching mechanism other than the deadbolt. Further, the strikeplates for the deadbolt on both the door and frame were not tapped to accept the screws. When I contacted the manufacturer about the lack of borings for normal door hardware latching mechanisms, their solution was that I could repack this 200+ lbs door and ship it back at my cost for another style door or hire someone locally to drill the door and frame and fill the holes for the door hardware. Finally, the installation instructions are somewhat generic and do not match the product. Despite all this, I'm happy with how the door now looks and functions.
