I have not made up my mind yet of the type of flooring I want to lay in my kitchen. Ceramic, Glazed Ceramic or Porcelan. Will this product work equally well on all three? Thanks
Asked by: Timewarpone
Yes, this unit seals grout well and tile. This will only work on raw products.

Would this be a good product to use on a slate tile patio table top?

I read on another site that slate used outside should not be sealed because the extreme heat will cause the slate to flake as well as trap moisture that will also cause flaking. I thought I would seal the slate and grout, but now I am not sure I should. Please HELP............. Thank You!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money No it didn't neither did the wax remover. I had to use another product with both. I used a couple ounces of the sealer now I have no use for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product / Nice Finish Used to seal interior slate tile floor. Went on easy with a cheap 3" foam sponge brush. Thought I might use up to 3 bottles, but only used 3/4 of a bottle. Only put one coat at this time for the interior. Testing on scrap slate tiles showed that mutiple coats became rather glossy. I wanted the more natural look, which one coat acheived beautifully. I mean beautifully! Totally brought out the colors, sealed the surface - even odors. I will purchase again...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Sealed brick patio and walkways with less product than I used with other brands. Results are a really nice finish leaving patio and walkways looking like new.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from For One Month YES. After that NO Product initially looks great and its easy to apply. Problems start after rain (white spots) and a small period of time. It starts pealing and you see spots everywhere. Then you try to remove it or wait to be gone. I tried it on slate, rocks and tiles with the same results. If you need a product for a month or until it rains use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shine! I used this stuff to seal a white tile floor and where I used it, the shine and cleanliness are markedly improved! I tried also a granite sealant (said it would work on tile) and a Johnson's water seal product and both were markedly inferior in the dried finish to the Trewax. I went to Ace looking for some more but couldn't find it. I studied the other products there and will be ordering Trewax online instead.
