Can this product be used sparingly on wood surfaces?

Asked by: David
The Trewax Instant Wax Remover is a water based product. Unless you have sealed wood with some type of poly I do not suggest using this product. If you choose to try it be aware that if it sits too long it could take the finish off. If you need further information please contact us at Beaumont Products, Inc. 800-451-7096 or email us at customerservice@beaumontproducts.com.

Will this work on laminated floor

Asked by: Nettie
The Trewax Instant Wax Remover is an acrylic based product. You are not supposed to put water on laminate. I don't think that I would chance this on your flooring. If you need further information please contact us at Beaumont Products, Inc. 800-451-7096 or email us at customerservice@beaumontproducts.com.

Two different answers on laminated floors Pergo to be exact. Does this work to remove Bona laminated floor cleaner?

Asked by: Pam
The Trewax Instant Wax Remover is a water based product. If the cleaning instructions for your laminate says not to use water on your floor then no you should not use this product. If you use water to clean your floors you should be okay with using this product. I would mix it according to the instructions on the back of the bottle put it in a spray bottle. To remove the cleaner I would work in small areas spray your floor, wipe it up, and you might want to go back with a gentle cleaner. If you need further information please contact us at Beaumont Products, Inc. 800-451-7096 or email us at customerservice@beaumontproudcts.com.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best! With very little effort, I got old wax off of my vinyl floor that I have been working on for over a year. Even had trouble scraping it off with a knife! With a couple wipes of Trewax- it is gone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonders! I used this to remove the gray, dull, ugly wax on the linoleum kitchen floors in my apartment. I applied, let sit for a couple of minutes and then scraped with a paint scraper. The old wax came off as a thick sludge. It was time consuming and took A LOT of elbow grease, but it was worth it. It was smelly, so I opened windows and used a fan. If I could go back, I'd probably do it with a drill attachment instead of hand scraping. I cleaned with my usual floor cleaner and finished with Trewax Sealer Wax, and my floors look like new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Product is the BEST!!! I have highly traffic areas in my office and years of mop and glo build-up. I wasn't sure what to do until I found this product. You do have to let it sit for a few minutes but the wax just melted off. My floors look like new. I tried everything and nothing worked like this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took off wax as advertised. Came in 2-pack, but 1 bottle would be enough for small kitchen floor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wax stripper The wax remover is good, but I had to reapply several times and use a lot of energy scrubbing the tiles to remove the wax. But, the apt. I live in had lots of wax on the tiles, as the maintenance workers only wash the floors and keep reapplying new wax without stripping the floors....hence, my problem when I tried to remove old wax. If the maintenance worker had stripped the floor each time before applying new wax, I assume my job would be easier. But since I am stripping many coats of wax, it is a really hard job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work This is not a simple pour on and wipe off solution. You have to spray it on, wait 3-5 minutes, use a stiff bristle brush to agitate, and STILL end up scraping the wax off with a paint scraper.
