Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TC512 Great product and easy assembly - well worth the money
I ordered four of the Trex Cape Cod Adirondack folding chairs. Shipping was fast and the Home Depot staff was helpful in loading the items into my car. The packages were heavy, but the instructions, a tool, and parts for assembly were complete. Assembly was truly easy with each chair needing two long bolts with washers and nuts, and two knobs that can be removed when folding up the chair - my 2nd grader was able to figure it out and we assembled all four in 15 minutes. The chair is substantial and very good quality. I am confident it will last through our crazy Texas seasons.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by PQT PIECE OF JUNK - DO NOT BUY
Arrived unassembled, which is fine if assembly is relatively easy. This wasn't. ~25 different screws (plus nuts and washers), ~10 different chair pieces, and terrible directions w/ terrible graphics. I spent an hour trying to assemble and gave up in frustration. As for chair itself, material felt and looked plasticky instead of a replica of a quality hardwood. We've sat in many different chairs over the last few weeks and this was by far the fakest looking materials. My wife's first comments as we pulled the pieces out of the book were "these things look cheap". Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere - not worth the cost and headache - and the quality is poor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MNMom Nice outdoor chairs
The chairs were easy to put together, and should last a long time given the Trex material. They were a bit less study than I thought, as the Trex is not as thick as that on decking. I would not want someone to sit on the arm of the chair, as it may break, but feel comfortable having big adults sit normally. Good value for long-life produc

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Alex excellent choice
these trex outdoor products are great. I first got the two adirondack chairs and the side table to start to see if i liked the product. Very easy to assemble. It came and it was beyond my expectations. I am 6'3 and it fit me perfect. High enough backs so i can put my head back and deep enough chair that it fits my legs. I was so happy with this product that i bought the outdoor table and 5 chairs and two rocking chairs with a side table!!!!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ryandg Frustrated with Trex Outdoor Furniture
Frustrated says it all. I purchased a Trex 36” conversation and two folding Adirondack chairs in April. When the three items arrived, two out of the three items had manufacturers defects (it was not from shipping, the packing materials were more than adequate). On the table one of the boards on the top surface was warped so bad that if you placed a glass on it, it could tip over. One of the chairs had a great deal of scuffmarks on the sitting surface of the Trex. On the second chair the bolts required to assemble the arm of the chair were not long enough to even put the nut on! Overall I was very disappointed since out of the three items, all three had some sort of issue. I hauled them back to the store, received a new table (that was OK) and one chair that I thought was OK. For the chair that had the incorrect length bolt, I didn’t want to take another gamble, so I called HD customer service for the correct bolts and when I received them they were the wrong color. Then in August I realized the back crossbar on the legs of one chair was loose. I realized the one side was missing two screws on the leg crossbar. Called Trex customer service and was told that the two screws that I did have on the opposite side were not even the correct length. Now I could no longer get the crossbar together probably because of swelling, so all I could do was ask for the hardware because neither Trex or HD would take it since it was not covered under the 30 day Trex warranty and it was outside of the HD return period. Overall the furniture is nice, but be very careful and thoroughly examine it when received. I must have extremely bad luck or Polywood/Trex has poor quality control! For the price you pay, they should be in perfect condition. Don’t even get me started on return/ warranty policies. Again very frustrated. I would recommend going to a patio furniture store to buy this type of furniture because it is clearly a gamble when you buy online.
