The rocker was easy to assemble. Very well made, great color. Perfect for outdoor use. Won't need painting. Great addition as extra seating on my deck.

Recently purchased two as a gift in vintage lantern color (dark brown) for a farmer's porch. They were delivered when promised. They assembled beautifully. Everything fit. No missing hardware. They came with a tool for assembling. They are sturdy and great looking, and will not require maintenance. I just hope the new owners find them comfortable to sit in. Very pleased with quality.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my other half. It includes everything needed to assemble. No extra tools are required, although it does include a drill bit you can use in your own power drill for quicker assembly instead of using the included hand tool. Was very easy to assemble, and did it by myself - only 9 pieces to put together. It's very sturdy and very well made. I like that it's made from the Trex material so I don't really have to worry about it rotting, fading, etc like "regular" wooden rockers seem to do - especially in the Southern summer heat and humidity. Very happy with it, and my other half loves it! Would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

The chair was easy to assemble -- was assembled by our 12 year old grandson. Very comfortable but needs a seat cushion.

Rocker bottom pre drilled holes were not in the right position
Disappointed with this purchase. Bought for a mother's day gift. Purchase arrived timely. Tried to assemble but the holes were not in the right position for both rocker bottoms(part that touches the floor and rocks chair). This was a comment by many other who purchased the product, but I liked the chair so purchased anyway.
Called Home Depot and manufacturer. Replacement part did not arrive for several days, not in time for holiday gift.
You need to place a cushion on the chair if using for extended period - past 20 minutes or so.
Rinse off with water hose frequently as the pollen attracts to the wood leaving a yellow hue on the dark brown wood, spotty at times.
Expected more for the price.

Ok, it isn't wood. That's both a good thing and a bad thing. It is more durable and easy to maintain, but doesn't have the wood "feel". On balance, a good decision

We have a new Trex back deck, which is beautiful. So, we purchased 2 Trex rocking chairs with color that matches the deck, and they look great.
Our major complaint is how the holes on the rockers do not match with the holes on the legs. They were offset maybe 1/8 ", wide enough to prevent me from using the specialty screws included with the chairs. I purchased deck screws of same length that worked well. Also, the metal screws were very soft, and I found myself stripping them as I tried to screw them in tightly.
Also, interestingly, the top back rails of the chairs differ. One has a handle for moving the chair; the other is solid.
The chairs are very comfortable. We find that a small pillow in the back makes them more comfortable for us to sit in them, but I don't think that would be any different from any other similarly shaped chair.
So, we are pleased with our purchases. But, we are surprised by the less than perfect quality, given the expense of the chairs as well as the reputation of Trex.

The rockers are well built and assembly was easy. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble each chair. They should last much longer than wood chairs and the Trex rockers will not require painting.
