You can get the taller posts and either using the 8' bottom rail covers as pickets or you could created a one foot panel to add to the six foot panel by getting extra pickets and another bottom rail setup.

Answer:
The posts are 9' and the rail covers are 8' long, but they are basically just long pickets (same profile). You can just st the posts a little higher and use the rail covers as pickets cut to the length you want.

The sections come as all components, you can modify the components and you can order specific components rather than the sections. Check out my review pictures DIYhomeownerGL to see how I modified mine. Plus look at the trexfencing.com website for other ideas.

My husband that installed our fence told me that the product cuts like lumber. Just need to use the same tools that you would use to build a wood fence to build a Trex fence. Cut the rails and pickets to the desired length and install. Hopefully this helps.

The Trex Seclusions fence panel kits are not boxed but the individual components are stacked on a pallet. The pallet dimensions if the fence panel kits are only ordered are 8ft x 4ft and usually stacked less than 4ft high. If Trex fence posts are getting ordered with the fence panel kits, then the pallet dimensions are 9ft x 4ft and usually stacked less than 4ft high. You'll find an image attached to see Read More

My best guess is that these sections come as the components and are not pre-assembled. The posts would be the longest item being 9' long, rails are 8' and pickets are 6'. Hope that helps. One other thing to keep in mind is the materials are on the heavy side, you want it delivered if you can. Trex Fencing does have a planning spreadsheet you can use to estimate the weight.

Answer:
Thanks for your question. Trex fence products are shipped on a pallet (they are not in a box). For one section of fence, not including posts; the pallet dimensions would be 8ft long x 4ft wide x 2ft high and would weight about 211 pounds (that includes the weight of the pallet itself). Thanks for your question. The colors are very similar but not an exact match. Trex Enhance Decking will not weather the way the fencing does. The fence will ultimatelly be lighter. Thanks, Gina Trex Customer Service.

It does match the 2x6 Trex composite lumber in saddle color. I'm not sure if the decking matches you can compare the decking to the Trex composite lumber in saddle color. Check out my review picture DIYhomeownerGL of the trellis I added above my saddle color fence. It is a perfect match.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trex Seclusions fencing -Saddle color I installed this product about 3 years ago now and we love the look of it. I found it very easy to install and work with. I actually customized my install quite easy with a little planning prior to placing my order with Home Depot. I found their installation instructions on their website trexfencing.com. I used longer posts and created a trellis above the fence using Trex 2x6 composite wood in the same saddle color. I also created step down sections qutie easy as well. Check out my pictures. The color seems to fade a little, but not bad it still looks great! September 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by looks nice was easy to put together. I did not know the brackets were included in the kit so i ordered them extra just in case. now i need to return them! June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love, love, love this fence First of all I highly recommend spending the extra $59 delivery fee! It was worth every penny!! The guys from Home Depot were very professional and extremely helpful in placing the items in our shed/barn safe from the weather. My husband, my three teenagers, and I assembled this fence. Once we put up the first 3 panels, we became quite proficient (10 minutes per post and 5 min per panel). We ordered 41 panels and 42 posts. We did have a neighbor who had a bobcat with an auger to dig the holes so that was awesome. We downloaded the instructions from the HD website before the order was delivered. That was recommended by HD on the website. It really helped to move things along once the fence arrived. We love the fence so much we have ordered 2 more posts and one more panel to extend the privacy for our yard. We have woods behind us so we will complete the enclosure with chain link fencing. The only issue we have is the fact that we had to cut every bottom rail and every top rail to match the 8 ft distance of the holes we dug. I suppose if we had laid out the fencing on the ground before we dug the holes we wouldn't have had to do that. Otherwise, we couldn't be more pleased with the results. I also want to add that the sales persons at Home Depot were so very helpful and patient with us as we went through the process of this very large purchase. May 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what my wife and I were looking for We had trex fencing installed at our house about 4 years ago. My wife and I cannot stand vinyl and did not want the maintenance of wood. Our fence was recently hit by a car and we needed to purchase some replacement parts. Home depot was the only company that we could by the few parts that we needed. It was easy to fix and install. Our only question that we had was that the new pieces we got were really rich in color. I called the trex company and they told me that it would " weather " ( their words not mine) to a uniform color. Its been about 4 weeks and don't notice the color difference as much. Its starting to blend in with the rest of our fence. May 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fencing Fence was east to assembly and looks fantastic. Have had several compliments on it. July 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trex Fencing is Wonderful! I'm glad to know that Home Depot is offering Trex fencing. My husband installed our beautiful fence last year and it looks great! My husband was able to install the fence with his brother. I love the wood resemblance of the fence even after a year it has been installed. No more staining which is great and my neighbors next to me love how the fence looks the same on both sides. I would recommend this fence to those that want a maintenance free fence. April 2, 2013
