Answer:
Thanks for your question. The length of this rail is 67.5". If you will be putting a Post Sleeve over your post, you will gain another inch. Please keep in mind for stairs you will need to cut the rail to accommodate the slope of the stairs. You may consider using the longer 91.5 rail depending on the slope of your stairs. Thank you, Gina Trex Customer Service

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DYI Installed 18 Months Ago, Iowa Installation is straight forward and product works as advertised. If installed in a shady area under a tree or on the North side of a home expect to pressure wash/scrub off bird droppings, tree sap, some dark marks from leaves at least 1x perhaps 2x a year. Overall we are very happy with the product BUT I would warn HD and Trex that the price increases year over year on these railing systems are exorbitant and they are pricing themselves out of the median family income market. For example the 91.5" railing kit was $159.09 on HD.com mid 2015. That same railing system is now $216.17 on HD.com. A ~36% increase in price in 18 months while energy costs dropped significantly. The same price increases are similar in their 67.5" railing and stair kits as well. Poured concrete decks and AC2 railings (stained) are becoming more attractive every year. Was looking forward to using Trex for my 60' front porch this spring but not at these prices... February 25, 2016
