Answer:
No. It is clear plastic. Maybe a spray paint made for plastics would work however.

How clear is the adhesive? When you peal off the backing prior to sticking the guard on the wall, can you see the adhesive film or is it clear?

If the wall has any texture the adhesive will only stick to the uppermost surfaces. I installed four of these just eight hours ago, and they seemed really well attached at the time, but one of the lengths simply fell off the wall an hour ago, and the other three were loose enough that at a touch they pulled free. We'll be putting them back up using some light-duty 3M Command tape, which has successfully held all kinds of things to these same walls without letting go. The one-star rating is there because "self-stick" is very nearly a false claim, and I can't in good conscience recommend this product to anyone who needs it to work as claimed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good except on newer paint Had several on corners for over 20 years, well worth it for all the damage they prevented. But had to remove them when we repainted. Original adhesion was good enough to pull small pieces of drywall off with them, but not surprising after 20 years and easy to patch. Bought new ones, but they would not stay up: new paint is Behr Premium interior, matte finish. Waited 5 weeks after painting, still won't stay up. So resorted to using some dots of clear caulk every 18 inches, and that did the trick (have been up for 4 weeks now, holding strong, and already took a couple of hits from grand kids playing) . I still recommend these, they took a lot of hits over the years from kids lugging toys, me moving ladders, etc. and none ever cracked, but saved me a lot of drywall corner patching that would have been needed without them. I'd give these a 5 if I hadn't had to add the caulk. Use them, but plan that you may need to add something to adhere them if your paint acts like mine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not stick Bought 14 to install after new paint. 6 would not stay up - cannot find nails for these. Buy the corner guards with nails.
