Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Alli Great alternative to fixed shelving!.
We recently remodeled our basement and had a 7ft by 6ft area for extra storage. These 24" deep shelves on BIG WHEELS allowed us to roll it after filling up some of the shelving, then finishing filling it once we moved it in place. So much easier and convenient for holiday decorations, plastic file boxes, toys and other items that used to clutter the floor. Glad we opted for the larger unit with wheels. Great product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WhittK Exactly what I was looking for
This shelving was exactly what I was looking for. I'd seen a similar one in one of the big box wholesale warehouse stores at a similar price, but it had only four shelves that were 18 inches deep and no wheels. This one has five shelves that are 24 inches deep and a much greater storage capacity. It not only lets me store more boxes and equipment, but much larger ones to boot. My tool boxes can be stored side by side depth-wise without taking up the entire shelf. The sturdy locking castor wheels make it easy to move around. It was easy to assemble. I love having my garage back!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lucky should have bought this years ago
I'm nearing the finishing stretch of re-building my house from hurricane Sandy, and for the past 2 1/2 years I've been moving tools and materials and items that didn't fit in storage locker from room to room by hand, I bought two - 5 tier heavy duty shelves with wheels that hold everything now rooms are cleared in seconds ! (especially now that I'm in the sheetrock, spackle and paint stage of project) Have to thank you folks at HD for being there for me because aside from the heavy duty materials needed for the initial lift ( helical piles, 10 X 10's, grade beams , etc, ) I'd say 65 % of my house bears the Home Depot trade mark. and that goes double for the great deal I got on all new windows, doors, and sliders I purchased there All Anderson 400 series) Thanks Again H-D

Once my husband drug the HEAVY box in the house for me, I was able to carry everything downstairs into our basement by myself, piece by piece. Assembly was a breeze - did it myself in about 10 minutes. Excellent quality. Very sturdy. Looks great. Love the 24" depth of this unit. Just what I was looking for.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Johno4403 Really handy for organizing your garage
We moved closer to the grandchildren and downsized. Went from a 3 car garage to a 2 car garage. As I am about the world's worst organizer I searched the web for ideas. In a DIY video it showed how a professional organizer ( I hate her by the way!) went about arranging a garage. She recommending the wire shelving racks and plastic bins with LABELS! So you actually know where "stuff" is. Go figure. She also recommended throwing away "stuff" you have not used in three years!! HA!! Heresy I tell you!!
Finding the wire shelving was the hard part. Most of the web searches found industrial shelving, read $$$$$$$. Finally found these on Home Depot's web site.
The pictures do not really do the shelves justice. They are really, really sturdy and high quality. Assembly is very easy and can be done by one person but two is better. Other than a box cutter or knife to open the box and cut the strapping you are all set. Shipping is free as they are over the $100 mark.
I REALLY LIKE that the rack can be stationary or movable as it comes with both good size casters and feet. I can't organize but I like being able to move "stuff" and clean the floor.
Just keep in mind EACH BOX weighs in at about 50 pounds. Once we get the unpacking under control I will get a couple more maybe.
I ordered the 60" x 24" x 72" by the way. About $200 each.

I bought two of these shelving racks and love them!! It took me about 40 minutes to put them together by myself. The 24 inch depth is really nice compared to the 18 inches that some shelving units are.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scott Worth every penny!
We have purchased two different sizes of these shelving racks, all with the wheels option, and couldn't be happier. We have made tons of room in our basement, and completely opened up our garage. I wish all products were this good! They are the strongest I've seen, and maintenance free, not to mention they should last forever.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wavicle Big and Easy to Move Around
I purchased six of these 5-shelf units (5 ft x 2 ft shelves & 6 ft tall) and was glad to see they all arrived in undamaged condition considering they each weigh 103 pounds and it was holiday shipping season. The boxes made all kinds of noise as you moved them around but it was only parts that came lose from their plastic bags and there was no damage.
They went together fine, not as good as some higher-quality models, but still very solid and that includes the castors.
The support posts are two sections that screw together like pipes, but with internal thread inserts. I made sure to position a shelf over that joint to help add some strength. Even though the load is vertical/compression, you tend to grab it above the joint to move the unit on the castors.
The shelves are big and have a single support strut along their center line. The are quite solid even loaded up with about 100 pounds per shelf (max with castors).
The chrome finish is good, but with some roughness. If the finish was better I'd give 5 stars on quality.
Overall very pleased with purchase and Home Depot free shipping-- finding this size unit was one good thing, but the shipping option was even better.
