I installed it in my electronics work table and now I have all my instruments and other stuff plugged in one place instead of in different strips like before. It's easy to install, you screw two clips to the surface where you want to install it and then press the power strip into the clips and you are done. I should mention that in my old job we used these strips attached to the bottom of the instruments shelf with the plugs facing down. If you had a lot of power cables plugged in, the weight of the cables could make the strip come of the clips. In my table I installed the strip facing up in the back part of the table so I won't have the problem of the strip pulling away from the clips. I am very happy with the quality of the product and I recommend it.

In a spare bedroom that I'm using as a hobby room I have a built-in cabinet nook that's exactly 48 inches wall to wall. I purchased this power strip to install on top of the cabinet and use it as a charging station for all my power tool battery chargers. This is the only one I've found where the power cord exits from the front instead of at the end, thereby not adding to the length. Unfortunately, the strip is longer than the advertised 48 inches. The reset button is at the end of the strip adding a half inch. Home Depot doesn't stock this in the stores, it's only available online so I wasn't able to see it before ordering it. So, the search continues. This strip now lives in my garage above a bench that holds eight bench tools, It's very well made and very sturdy. There are cheaper strips out there but this one is built to last. It's a good product at a fair price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DON123 outstanding, love it.
The only improvement I would recommend is the mounting brackets won't hold it up on the wall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jeffsw6 great form-factor, switch cover, supply cord, really nice!
This power strip is well-constructed. The on/off switch is protected by a cover, preventing you from accidentally turning it on (or off) when working around it. The supply cord is also nice and long, as advertised.
The receptacle spacing is sufficient that most "wall warts" will cover up only one extra outlet, and small ones won't obstruct any. It is easier to connect and disconnect power tools with more space between the receptacles, too.
I bought this for my workbench after growing tired of needing more receptacles whenever I have several tools out at once, or am working on something electronic. It doesn't take up much space and solved my problem just like I hoped. It is a lot nicer than having several cheap power strips, which is what I was doing before.

I bought this power strip to be used on a large model train table that is capable of running 8 trains at the same time. It mounted perfectly and has sufficient power cable length to run under the table to a switched wall outlet behind the table. The multiple outlets are not crowded and will accommodate everything I need to plug in. Couldn't be more pleased.
