Answer:
No, a two story house is usually 20 feet tall. This only being 17 feet, it would not reach. If it did, I cannot imagine it would remove much snow from your roof

Answer:
I doubt it, not with the tool as its purchased. Perhaps with an extension to the handle. I have a single story on a hill where one side of the house is higher than the other by about 5 feet. I had to use a ladder to reach the high side and use the tool.

Answer:
I would suggest a 21 foot, I have a 2 story colonial and it barely does a foot at the end, and I have to stand right under it, so the snow will land on you, otherwise use a ladder, but not very stable...

This rake extends up to 17 feet in length. We are not able to comment on specific applications because every house is different.

The product indicates extensions can be added but I haven't added any. I live on hill and one side of my house is higher by about 5 feet. I used a ladder for that one side and that worked for me.

I do not believe that any further pieces can be added. I own a Colonial and use a ladder for additional reach with the snow rake.

Answer:
There is a one page assembly instruction sheet which is easy to follow. It doesn't really explain the "clips". The tool comes with 3 clips but I only found one place to put a clip. It's working with the one clip and am assuming the others are spares.

I need something to remove pine needles from my roof while I stay at ground level instead of climbing up there or balancing on a ladder.

I live in a pine forest and while the tool will knock down some pine needles along with the snow, it's really not made for that. (I use a leaf blower or a garden rake for pine needles).

While it is designed to remove snow from the roof it is possible to use the rake to remove pine needles, but may not work as well as pine needles may be left on the roof.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWESOME awesome AWESOME! I had 2-3" of snow covering all my solar panels for like a week-now, picked this up at local HD, assembled it in 3-4 minutes and went to work. 10-minutes later, DONE! Design is awesome: plastic-face and light-weight, so it won't hurt my solar panels. Design allows you to "push" the rake up the roof and the head simply floats over the snow, but when you pull-back down, IT DIGS IN, and does a marvelous job. Took me such little time I felt guilty, and did the rest of my roof too! All while wearing my deck-shoes!!! Awesome, awesome, awesome. January 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 17" Ft. Roof Rake Last year I had Ice dams on the Northwest facing side of the house, the side with a full dormer. So there I put up heat wrap wire to keep the edges warm during snow storms. Since we really have had a very mild winter that seems to have worked but really can't determine for real. On the front side of the cape I have Solar Panels. Last year they were covered by snow most of the winter and I did not make any electricity for at least 2 months. So I purchased this rake. Putting it together is the hardest part of using it. Once that is done it's pretty simple to use. Just telescope to the desired length and rake the snow down.l and that is pretty much that. It would be nice to be another 7 feet taller but then of course it would become unwieldy. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Telescoping roof-rake This type of tool had all but disappeared util I recently found it at my Home Depot store. My experience in the past was a home-made version, which was heavy, bulky and difficult to use. This roof rake is very lightweight, durable and because of the telescoping handle, very easy to use. Fully extended, I am able to reach 12-15ft up the slope of my roof and clear the snow out from behind the wood stove chimney and this eliminates the fear of a snow load coming down on someone as they enter the back door. I did not read product reviews before I decided to buy, based on having looked for one for many years. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! Putting together was a little confusing. Instructions were on both sides of a sheet of paper. It was for 2 different types of roof rakes so make sure your following the right side! Also, the screws/bolts were kind of difficult to line up & took us some time to screw together. But once it was done, the roof rake works as it should! Gets the job done! I really like the telescoping aspect. Makes it much easier! I've only had to use it about 4 times so far, so hopefully it stays intact! I hate snow!!! February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great store service from Mike McKendrick Mike McKendrick at the Grand Junction CO store was very helpful. I had been to Lowe's and Sutherlands looking for a roof rake. Mike said they were out of stock BUT I could order a rake on line and then he helped me with the order. The other stores just said "out of stock" and did nothing to help me order or find! Mike was key for me getting the Roof Rake that I put together and used at our cabin at Steamboat Springs CO. March 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Rake This is a well made snow rake. Long enough to do the job....any longer and it would be unwieldy. Seems to be well....lightweight but sturdy. I have been wanting a good roof take for a long time. I'm glad I found this one. March 22, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Roof rake It does the job but I find it quite hard to open and close. You have to push in a red button to extend the rake and it doesn't budge sometimes. Otherwise, it rakes the roof fine. March 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Roof Rake Was looking for a cheap roof rake and ended up going with this one, which wasn't the cheapest, but I am glad I did. Feels like a a high quality roof rake and the telescoping feature makes it much easier to handle and store. March 15, 2016
