I have been very pleased with the shovel. The ergonomics do make a difference. Especially if you have had back injuries. I only have 2 main complaints. The scrapping edge of the shovel is plastic and wore out the first winter. But it still works even after the edge has worn through. And a drawback to its lightweight design, it is rather flimsy when it comes to breaking away ice that has stuck to the driveway. But I have used it for 2 years. Getting ready to use it again for its 3rd winter. Not bad for $25.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mar0712 bent handle, bright color, lightweight, durable, use all surfaces
saves on the back, like the bright color is able to find it, lightweight, durable, you can use it on all surfaces. Nice for tight spaces.

This snow shovel was ordered on line. It came perfectly boxed and in useable condition. Your Customer Service is one of the best if not the best in the whole country!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by steve blade is not replaceable
Good shovel for all the reasons cited by other users. However, the blade which makes contact with the ground is made of plastic and is screwed on with Philips head screws. It wears out rapidly. I contacted the True Temper manufacturer to see if they made and sold just the removeable blade. They do not! The customer service rep said you have to buy a whole new shovel. I call this planned obsolescence. Hey Home Depot -- tell them to make replacement blades for your customers and sell them at your stores.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Paul101 great shovel for a bad back!
i've had back problems for years, and shoveling always poses a problem. I got this shovel a month ago (i'm pretty sure this is the same one i got in the store - the one with the handle that curves down..hard to tell from the pic, but the descriptions seems to indicate it is) and was finally able to test it out last night after we got 3" here in VA. I'm happy to report that it did great! I was able to push the snow easily and even lifting it up to toss it aside was easy.
after doing a 2 car driveway, a walkway, sidewalk in front of the house, and 3 parking spaces on the street (that had some plowed snow), my back was not at all sore. Great product! now we'll just see how well the edge/tip lasts - that's one of my other complaints on typical shovels.
