CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 95 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bent handle, bright color, lightweight, durable, use all surfaces saves on the back, like the bright color is able to find it, lightweight, durable, you can use it on all surfaces. Nice for tight spaces. February 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shovel. We have a textured finish on our deck. We can not use a shovel with a metal lip because they will dig into the deck finish. This shovel has a nylon(?) lip and works perfectly with the deck. Granted we have only used it twice this year but it seems to hold up nicely. It will get a LOT more use this winter. I'll report back. December 10, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor QC I waited for a few days for these to be back on the shelves, then hastily grabbed one in preparation for the next snow storm. I was surprised to find that the leading edge of this shovel was NOT STRAIGHT! Is it too late to return? Probably, because some weeks have gone by since the purchase. The shovel as "assembled in the USA" is mediocre at best. Very disappointed. December 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Excellent ergonomic tool - purchaser is a senior citizen and the tool is extremely helpful in shoveling snow. Excellent lasting item - purchased same tool from Home Depot about four years ago. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A real back-saver! Living in the Northeast we have done our fair share of shoveling so far this winter. This shovel's ergonomics are a real back-saver for me at six feet tall! Would recommend it for a try if your taller than average. Be advised this shovel has a plastic reinforcement strip on the bottom and not metal, therefore it will be good for clearing a deck, but may not be suitable for use on a paved driveway. Other model has metal bottom strip. February 8, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by average snow shovel blade does not lay flat on the surface thus leaving snow behind causing you to shovel the same spot twice. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great shovel for a bad back! i've had back problems for years, and shoveling always poses a problem. I got this shovel a month ago (i'm pretty sure this is the same one i got in the store - the one with the handle that curves down..hard to tell from the pic, but the descriptions seems to indicate it is) and was finally able to test it out last night after we got 3" here in VA. I'm happy to report that it did great! I was able to push the snow easily and even lifting it up to toss it aside was easy. after doing a 2 car driveway, a walkway, sidewalk in front of the house, and 3 parking spaces on the street (that had some plowed snow), my back was not at all sore. Great product! now we'll just see how well the edge/tip lasts - that's one of my other complaints on typical shovels. December 17, 2010
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by blade is not replaceable Good shovel for all the reasons cited by other users. However, the blade which makes contact with the ground is made of plastic and is screwed on with Philips head screws. It wears out rapidly. I contacted the True Temper manufacturer to see if they made and sold just the removeable blade. They do not! The customer service rep said you have to buy a whole new shovel. I call this planned obsolescence. Hey Home Depot -- tell them to make replacement blades for your customers and sell them at your stores. January 28, 2013
