saves on the back, like the bright color is able to find it, lightweight, durable, you can use it on all surfaces. Nice for tight spaces.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by steve blade is not replaceable
Good shovel for all the reasons cited by other users. However, the blade which makes contact with the ground is made of plastic and is screwed on with Philips head screws. It wears out rapidly. I contacted the True Temper manufacturer to see if they made and sold just the removeable blade. They do not! The customer service rep said you have to buy a whole new shovel. I call this planned obsolescence. Hey Home Depot -- tell them to make replacement blades for your customers and sell them at your stores.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by GettinStarted Very good shovel
I live in NJ and I bought this about a month ago after we got hit with our first bout of snow in December. I have 2 other snow shovels but after shoveling with them I was pretty tired by the time I finally finished my driveway, which spans across the length of the block and attaches to an alley. I must say I really like this shovel as I wasn't at all as fatigued as the first time and I was able to shovel the driveway faster. My only gripe with it is that it's all plastic and if you try and chip away at some ice or hard snow it will just bounce off. I have an aluminum shovel that i keep with me for that purpose. Maybe if that wear tip was metal it would help but, all in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Paul101 great shovel for a bad back!
i've had back problems for years, and shoveling always poses a problem. I got this shovel a month ago (i'm pretty sure this is the same one i got in the store - the one with the handle that curves down..hard to tell from the pic, but the descriptions seems to indicate it is) and was finally able to test it out last night after we got 3" here in VA. I'm happy to report that it did great! I was able to push the snow easily and even lifting it up to toss it aside was easy.
after doing a 2 car driveway, a walkway, sidewalk in front of the house, and 3 parking spaces on the street (that had some plowed snow), my back was not at all sore. Great product! now we'll just see how well the edge/tip lasts - that's one of my other complaints on typical shovels.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by stasiu 18 inch wide blade and nylon wear strip
The blade ends are bowed up and when the nylon wear strip gets wore down you have to throw the shovel away cause you cant buy a replacement wear strip. I bought one last year with a metal wear strip and it wore down and popped out of the rivets. If I could have bought a replacement wear strip I could have drilled out the rivets and attached a new wear strip on with pan head nuts and bolts.
