CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty flimsy While this thing is light and easy to handle, the blade is extremely flimsy. The handle is sturdy and reinforced, but the one I bought last year cracked horizontally right across the middle of the blade/scoop part. See photo - generally you're not supposed to see light through a shovel. The one this replaced (10-12 years old which had the front metal edge worn away over the years) had a great fiberglass/meshed material that lasted much longer than this one. December 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lasted two years Very happy with this shovel. I used it heavily for two seasons clearing two properties in Denver suburb. It's scoop design holds more snow and there is less 'side fall-off' than the flat-blade design. The lighter weight of the plastic blade is easier on you back. At end of 2009 winter season it was developing a horizontal crack in center of blade, approximately at position of the lower end of handle. I blame this on heavy usage. The crack grew only slowly and I was able to complete the season. At start of this winter season I am hunting for the same shovel model. For a medium cost shovel this one really stands above the crowd. - Recommend a quick spray of Pam or WD-40 on the face before you start. The snow/slush will fall off easily and the savings to your back is immense! November 27, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good for scraping, too narrow for moving lots of snow Overall the shovel is fine. the edge of the lip does a great job of getting underneath ice, but also gets caught on every little driveway or sidewalk imperfection. It is not really wide enough for my needs as well. But no real complaints. As I said, it's fine. February 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what a Snow Shovel Should Do Very efficient snow removal tool. The polymer body releases the snow quickly and the metal wear edge is designed to provide many years of service before needing to be replace. It is great to use as either a pusher or as a shovel. I got two of these for my daughters to use at their homes in Billings Montana while I was visiting. January 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product at a great price! This is a great shovel for the price and it's stainless steel lip helps to cut thru even deep snow drifts with ease. January 21, 2014
