I use this shovels on a golf course during greens aerification to pick the plugs up and they work absolutely great, they're really light and strong enough for this kind of work.

I replaced my old shovel that was very similar in weight. The old shovel was chewed at the front edge. I like this style because the long handle makes reaching, lifting and tossing snow easier on my back. Shovel is great for pushing snow. The only surprise was that I had to assemble it myself. It came with one screw, but since there were two holes to the blade shaft, I added a second screw. Hopefully this shovel will last ten years.

teh snow shovel was specifically chosen because of it's longer length. two items however are a slight concern. the handle is wood and that is fine but it is a larger diameter that most and is a little clumsy because of it. plus the snow would not drop off of the metal shovel easily. i was going to add oil to see if that helps. the plastic shovels we have do not have this issue. over all it is a decent shovel and seems more durable than the plastic.

I don't know what I would do without this shovel. It has saved me much time shoveling all the snow that we have had this winter. It does an excellent job.

lightweight, sturdy handle attachment. Metal blade seems thin compared with older, same item it replaces.

It is well made and looks very strong.

Aluminum with steel wear strip is light and sturdy. Have had one for years that has held up very well. Second one requested by the wife to help me when shoveling :-) Bought one from a major online retailer -- it came in bubble wrap (no box) with a badly mangled/twisted blade. Sent it back and selected ship to store for the same item from Home Depot. At Home Depot, it was boxed and in very good shape, although a few blows with a urethane hammer were needed to get the leading edge perfectly straight. Handle was not attached, which isn't hard to do or a problem, but a screw to keep it attached was not in the package -- a minor nuisance, as I provided my own stainless screw and drilled the handle to accept it.
