Cracked down middle of the poly barrow after only a year and a half of light use. I would hope it does not split anymore, maybe manufacturer should offer a repair , something like a 1/4 inch sheet of plastic to fit the bottom of the wheelbarrow and a few screws? I will be doing that myself......hopefully it does not continue to crack in half from one end to the other! I gave it a two star rating because it still carries things that I don't want to carry by hand. See attached photos

I've never seen $5 plastic buckets, or $10 cement mixing trays split with a winter freeze. This is a true piece of trash. Do not buy it, buy the metal one. It will split. It is obviously a manufacture defect. The spit happened where you can see a variation of color to the plastic.

It comes assembled from the Home Depot, while for the most part it was assembled correctly the wheel wasn't properly installed (check picture for proper installation). We have owned the wheelbarrow for approximately 18 months and put it through some different tests. It's hauled firewood during the winter, filled it with leaves in the fall, moved brush in the summer and carted all sorts of odd objects from heavy to bulky during the year, it's somewhat deep for mixing cement.
There are a few peculiarities that should be noted, for instance the handles are low, if resting on a slope or hill we found that placing the wheelbarrow downhill prevents it from tilting instead of placing it other way around. It has developed a crack in the tub (check picture), and the tire and tube are paper thin (literally) developed a flat from a thorn on a bush that we were trimming.
It's really a pretty good wheelbarrow and if you live on a hilly piece of property the balance is well designed. Tilting the wheelbarrow up to empty is sometimes awkward in that the handles are lower than you might be used to. Very deep tub. Would we buy another one, only after we looked around to see what else is on the market.

last fall I purchased a total control wheelbarrow from home depot . I knew it was not the best product I could buy but I figured it would be a good bang for my buck. that does not seem to be the case sense I have only used the wheelbarrow only 6 times. yes I move wood around my yard for my wood burner but nothing all that heavy I thought I would get a couple of years out of your product. it would be nice if I could get my money back or credit to go and purchase a better product.

I bought a True Temper 6 cu. ft. Poly Wheelbarrow with Total Control Handles last summer. It saw light use a few times. I did not take it back when the tub split, or when all the bolts were coming loose, or when I had to air the tire up every time I used it. I should have, and gotten my money back. This is a true piece of junk. Now the rim, the rim, not the tire has a leak in it and I can not use it without buying a new tire/rim assembly. What a waste of $70+ dollars. Why Home Depot continues to sell this quality of merchandise is beyond me. The other bad reviews of this wheelbarrow are true in my experience. So now I have the choice of spending more money on this piece of junk, or replacing it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Brett Get a metal bucket instead.
Oh I wish I had seen these reviews before I bought it. Yep. Same thing here: the plastic cracked after about 3 months of using it. The wheel went flat pretty fast too, so I ended up buying a replacement solid rubber wheel rather than dealing with flats.
The front-of-the-wheel bar is pretty low to the ground. If you're going over much of a bump at all, it frequently likes to catch on the ground sending you and everything you're carrying to a screeching halt.
I do like the handles though. They're comfortable, and probably the best feature of this wheelbarrow.
In summary, I absolutely wouldn't buy this again. I'd go with the next model up that had a metal bucket and non-poppable tires.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mcotter11 after 5 years still is fine
We have had this for 5 years now and are just now having to replace the steel parts (handles and braces). With living a block from the ocean and having the wheelbarrow outside 100% of the time, I think that is a pretty good life. I do a lot of yard work and we are remodeling the inside of the house which I would bring the wheelbarrow inside and shovel drywall, concrete and other stuff outside to dump. No cracks in the tub. We did put a heavy duty wheel on it first thing though. Had one left from the old wheelbarrow.

I bought this to haul some bricks forms the backyard to the front. After a couple of loads the bottom had a huge crack in it. I'm glad I read the reviews because I was going to exchange it but now I only want my money back.
