I have copper pipe in residential home - two sizes 5/8 OD and 7/8 OD. Question is what size foam insulation should I use to cover the pipes?

I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site.
The interior dimension (ID) size needs to match or be within 1/8th inch of the outer dimension (OD) of the pipe to be insulated.
Your 5/8'' outer dimension pipe will need a 3/4'' ID insulator. Your 7/8'' pipe needs a 1'' ID pipe insulator cover.
