Product Overview

36 in. Trench Pan (TPan) pre-sloped drainage system leaves no standing water in the drain, unlike neutral slope channel drain products. This fully assembled unit easily and quickly installs onto 3 in. or 4 in. Schedule 40 or 4 in. SDR35 drain pipe. The UV Stabilized, ADA compliant grate is designed for residential applications or even heavy wheel loads (H-20 rated). Stainless steel screws fasten the grate to the pan. Great for garage floors, driveways, pool decks, factory floors. Multiple TPans can be butted together to form longer lengths or 90 degree corners - no extra pieces needed. Add rebar to molded ports on the TPan and pour ready-mix concrete under and around to encapsulate. Complete installation instructions are available. A robust drainage system at a great price.

Customer Reviews

36 in. Plastic Trench Pan is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and durable trench drain The quality of this trench drain exceeded my expectations, and I can be picky. I am a professional contractor. I went with this drain mainly because of its shallow size, and the bottom discharge outlet. I installed it in a new concrete floor in a root cellar where we needed to manage surface water. The shallow design enabled concrete to be installed underneath it, and fully support it. The gauge of the material was much thicker than I expected. When it was finished, I was very impressed with how strong the grate felt. While we didn't use it for our application, I would have no hesitations about using this in a driveway or garage where a car would drive over it. The grate seemed to have a lot of support underneath it, from the internal structuring of the drain body itself. Info that came with the product said it would attach to a variety of PVC pipe. The only part I wasn't impressed with was the label over the grate which is supposed to protect it from concrete flowing into it. It didn't seem well adhered, so we took it off and replaced it with good duct tape. We also debated about taking the grate off during concrete pouring, but opted not to in the end in case the housing would compress and then the grate might not slip back into it. I would advise to make sure the grate is well covered during the pour though.
