1 gal. Glazol Glazing Compound is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I hoped for. I was hoping this would be a moist, easily applied compound to put glass in an aluminum frame greenhouse during cool weather. After adding mineral spirits to compound it worked fairly well, but wasn't the miricle cure I hoped for. It was too dry an crumbly. It probably would okay in warmer weather, above 60, and if glazing into wooden sash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with Glazol one year later Bought mine in small quantities as first time and not sure how it would work. Pleased! Did test drive last year reglazing windows in place - so exposed to elements but did "canopy" work areas with plastic while glaze curing. Slow process (remove old putty, prime area with KILZ (oil based), 24 hour wait, put on Glazol, waited two weeks till skin touchable but pliable then cover glaze with one coat KILZ and next day started 2 coats Benjamin Moore exterior latex. Waited two weeks more to put storms back in. That was last July. It is now a year later (June) and everything has held together beautifully - no cracks, no peeling. Am working now on additional windows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best window glaze compound out there! I have a historic home with original windows from 1857. I would never think of replacing them with modern windows -- NEVER! This product, Glazol, by UGL is far superior to any other window glazing product out there. Mixed with a little mineral spirits as suggested on the label, it remained pliable and was easy to work with. It cured well and was very paintable. With this product and appropriate timely maintenance my windows should last another 100 plus years easily. I do not understand why Home Depot does not carry this product in the store along with other products recommended by the Window Preservation Standards Collaborative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good to work with, sets up very slow It's a good product. I've used it before. It's much more workable than the DAP equivalent. However it takes a really long time to set up. I'd use it again.
