PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Model # 1145

Internet # 202797711

Box end wrenches with 15 degree and 45 degree angles are designed to provide access to nuts or bolts with some type of obstruction, apart from permitting a solid grip for the hand by means of their angle. This type of wrench has a different box end size on each end. The 45 degree angle is recommended for applications in which the nut or bolt is in low relief, while the 15 degree angle is ideal for when there is not much space in the height parallel to the spin axis of the part.

  • Oval body for a comfortable grip
  • Steel alloyed with high quality molybdenum vanadium and controlled heat treatment
  • Nickel-chrome plated full polish and satin finish for corrosion resistance
  • Narrow ends for better access in tight areas

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than I expected Upon arriving home and opening the package, I was surprised to see "Mexico" on the combo box wrench! But the build quality is as high as any of the Husky tools being sold off the shelf at Home Depot or as high as any SK, Proto, or Thorsen tool I've handled: solid, heavy, and chromed steel. I've used "Made in India" wrenches for years with no problems. Detroit, Nissan, and other car manufacturers trust Mexico to build their cars! I know the real test is to put the thing on a jammed nut and see how it performs but two things: the box ends are 12-point on each end--not likely to slip; and more importantly, I didn't buy this for heavy automotive or diesel work. I bought this so I could remove a jammed freewheel from a bicycle wheel, and it can't fail for that use. The wrench is 15½" from end-to-end, and I was looking at the 1" nut size plus the length for leverage. I gave it 4 stars for quality. I would give a 5-star to a Snap-On tool; so the quality rating is about spot-on. January 6, 2014
