I was searching for an Adirondack chair in red (and affordable) and was thrilled to find this chair at Home Depot at a great price! The chair is sturdy and just perfect. the color brickstone blends beautifully with my flowered chair pads. Thank you.!

Had 4 of these chairs for a year now without problems. For $17.98 it's a steal!! They are made from resin, so expect them to possibly break, down the road. Compare that to wooden one's, that have to be maintained and cost at least 10X more.
I think it's a very stylish product at an awesome price. I'd buy them over and over again, even if they would last only one season.

I really like this chair. This is a comfortable chair and fits well on our apartment balcony. I am a large person and I have had no problem using this chair. Sometimes I find myself stuck in a chair because they are too narrow. The Adirondack Patio Chair has plenty of room and so far has been sturdy. I also bought a chair cushion to tie on to the chair. That was something I liked too because Home Depot had several pretty patterns to choose from. I recommend getting a chair cushion to go with it because it will help give a little lift making easier to get out of the chair. Without the cushion you sink too far back into the chair making slightly difficult to get out of. I also find my cat loving the chair.

Bought four of these chairs. Two of them have broken at the support between upper slats just as others have described. The other two seem fine probably because I am extra careful when sitting now. If you plop down in them ( as most of us tend to do) they're likely to break as I believe there is a flaw in the design.
Other than that these chairs look great and are very comfortable. I would love to buy more but my good sense tells me to find something better.

I purchased 4 of these chairs 5 years ago, and they have withstood the elements year round, just a little fading. I decided to spruce up the front porch/curb appeal so I purchased four new chairs. The old ones are still being used on my deck in back of the house.

We have had six of these chairs for the past eight years and they've held up very well...we're average sized people (only one over 200lbs) so that may have something to do with their durability. The geometry on the chairs, angle of the backrest, height off the ground, and placement of my buttocks is perfect for a long chat...the arms are flat and hold my drinks (with assist - they'll slide off if they're too icy/wet), and they usually carry a cheapo four legged plastic table and footstool that match (under $20 each)...so the value of the chairs and accessories are unbeatable. The color on the dark green chairs has faded a bit, but the tan chairs look brand new (and we live in South Texas where the sun takes a toll on outdoors furniture)...OH YES, they ALSO stack easily and nicely, another bonus since we use them as EXTRAS...Lovem, love the colors, love the fit and finish. Buy them and you will not be disappointed.

Resin chairs can be GREAT. Cheap, tuff, stackable and nice to look at. These could be too.
I bought one as a test because I had severe doubts about the ability of those "splayed" legs to handle weight. I mean - LOOK AT IT. Sure enough, the legs have developed fatigue after several months of mild use. The back legs now bend under normal use - just below the connection to the chair base. If I lean to one side or the other, the front legs also bend. I can probably modify the booger with lateral reinforcement, but the manufacturers design could (and to my thinking, should) incorporate sufficient strength.
Nothing lasts forever, I know, but these will give resin chairs a bad name.
