Can I vent horizontally 4 feet?

How much smoke can be seen venting outside?

I am curious what the output of smoke looks likes outside. Would the impression to neighbors be like ... Hey what's all that smoke (where there was none before)? ... or is it relatively insignificant?

There is a brief amount of smoke during the initial burn at start up, but then no smoke after that.

how long burn

wondering how long a burn on the lowest setting do you get out of a bag of pellets. Had the window version a few years ago and go rid of it as the ignitor keep burning out every winter. Any problems with the ignitor on this stove?

All igniter have 3000 lighting times, so it truly depends on how many times it goes out and you have to relight your stove. Heat Output1 16,400 BTU/hr. Heating Capacity2 500 - 1,000 sq. ft. Fuel Burn Rate3 3/4 - 2 1/2 lbs./hr. Burn Time (lowest setting) 35 hours Hopper Capacity 28lbs 1 BTU output will vary depending on the quality of fuel. Use PFI listed fuels for the best results. 2 Heating capacity will vary depending on fl oor plan layout of your home, degree of insulation, and the outside temperature. 3 Pellet size may effect the actual rate of fuel feed and burn times. Fuel feed rates may vary by as much as 20%. Use PFI listed fuel for best results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from us stove 1000 Sq ft wall mount directl vent pellet stove Very disappointed.Received stove installed the next day.Which was Saturday.Started the stove.It fired up and as soon as the room air blower came on it would go into shut down mode. I Called the company on Monday. They told me it's probably a board problem. Took a week for the new boards and com cable to come. Installed the new control,display board and com.cable.As soon as I turned power on all the LEDs would all flash. I Called the company back.They told it's got to be com. cable. They said they would send a new one .I asked do I have to wait another week to get this cable . Their anwser was we can get it to sooner but will cost you 90 dollars for second day. So I waited another 9 days because of the holiday . Installed the new cable. Same problem all the LEDs flashing .They agreed to send a new stove. After a week recieved the stove Installed the new stove ran for day and half. Started shutting down. Fire would go out. But kept filling the fire pot with pellets and the stove never shut off. Called them back. And their answer was. We'll it's got to be the boards will send you new boards

I purchased this product in August and it is still not working. I am with the company on the phone on weekly bases. They are sending me the replacement parts over and over and over. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We purchased our wall hung stove from an outside vendor in 2015. The door was damaged prior to s... We purchased our wall hung stove from an outside vendor in 2015. The door was damaged prior to shipping and we contacted the manufacturer for a replacement door. We had no problem getting the replacement with proof of purchase. The company was helpful and professional. We removed and replace the damaged door in a very straight forward process. The installation was not complicated, but the unit is very heavy, so additional help to "hang" the unit is recommended. The unit was fired up immediately upon installation to burn off it off, as recommended. This unit is located in our vacation home (1000 sq ft) in the mountains at approximately 7000 ft elevation so the weather can be cool in the spring and fall. This unit keeps the home at about 68-70 degrees overnight on the lowest setting with 30-32 degree outside temps. The unit recently started shutting down overnight. After reading reviews from several sites, we decided that it was probably due to excess pellet dust in the hopper. We have been regularly cleaning the pot and heat exchanger, but not the hopper. RECOMMENDATION: set a regular cleaning/maintenance schedule for the hopper burn chamber and heat exchanger. We would recommend this unit for installation in any similar environment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First night in the homestead Fired up easy enough. Install went well but be carerful with the lags I snapped off 2 in my wall. The auger did jam after initial burn thats why I gave it 4 stars not 5. To fix that you need to take out the 2 screws on the access door the pull the clip out of the auger motor then it comes right off the unhook the two auger bolts and move up and down unti it moves easily then put it back together. Anyway on low setting it kept it 69 degress all night 71-73 in the upstairs it was only in the 40s overnight though. So far so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good. First pellet stove i have had this installed just over a month and it has been great. The auger tends to be noisy from time to time. It does tend to collect a fair amount of ash using the Fireside Ultra pellets from Home Depot. It's has a few occasions where it will fire up then shut down. I just take out the burn pot and clean out the clunkers. My uostairs is just under 850 sq ft and it keeps it in the mid 70s when it's on. Haven't had to run it higher than te lowest setting. Wish there was an option of a timer or thermostat on it. Using it a few hours every night and more on weekends, I'm only using about a bag of pellets a week.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unhappy I recently bought this heater and installed. It worked perfectly for the first few days. Then it stopped feeding pellets. Thinking that the pellets may be bad, I bought different brand from Tractor supply. But the results were the same. Each time I emptied the pellets and cleaned. It may work for few minutes and then it shuts off. I did this exercise at least few dozen times in two weeks. I bouught this to support my propane heating furnace. I called the United for support. All they could say was to change the pellets.
