The exhaust pipe is not perpendicular to the stove, this means the pipe exits at an angle not 90 degrees. It;s aluminum, and it was close to the back shield, I had to use pliers to bend the sheet metal out of the was to make the pipe collar slide on the exhaust . The Ignition system does not work, you need to use lighter fluid to get it lit. After the initial dissatisfaction the stove does work and look nice.
The factory inspection prior to leaving the warehouse was a joke.
It weighs 300 lbs, taking it back $$ to get another is a joke.

This stove is poor quality, cheaply made, with substandard parts and components. I've owned this stove since November 2010, and have experienced unceasing cascade of failures. The room fan failed less than 72 hours after installation. I've invested over $461.00 in parts including exhaust fan, exhaust temperature thermister, air pressure switch, and igniter. Now, the PCB igniter board has failed requiring $415.00, with shipping, to replace it.
This stove is a very poor long-term investment. As someone who has "been there", I strongly caution against purchasing any US Stove products. Read more reviews on Amazon to get a good picture of just how bad this stove really is.

I have had this pellet stove since November 2012 and have yet to experience any significant issues.
After the first winter I noticed the interior where the electronics are had some fine wood dust that must have made its way through the hopper. Problem was solved by sealing up the empty hopper cracks with stove tape.
I have read of ignitor failure in some reviews, and have had to restart the lighting process a couple of times, but it seems to work most of the time.
It looks great and pumps out a lot of heat. I find the best bang for your wood pellet buck is a heat setting between 1-3 (it goes to 5), above that I believe it consumes a ton more pellets for marginal heat output.
So far so good, it's made a significant dent in my electric bill as the house is baseboard/electric heated.
It IS harder to clean (ashes) than most I've seen. You need an ash-vac and must get in all the nooks/crannies vs. other pellet stoves that have an ash pan. On regular winter use, I clean it twice a week.
Hope this helps.

This is a stove that can be purchased for around $1000 but will cause around $1000 in headaches. ive had mine for 1 1/2 winters and ive gone through 3 igniters, one control unit, and now the draft fan is going. I clean it every 3 days thoroughly and always have. It was my first pellet stove purchase but if i had it to do again i would spend the extra money on a harmon or equivalent. Any company that puts money into design.

I purchase this stove for my 1400 SF pole barn which is well insulated. I could run it all day and the temperature doesn't go above 40 degrees The fan is week ant the stove air never really gets hot. It was a waste of money.

It arrived within the timeframe they predicted for shipping, and although the packaging (box and palette it came on) looked like it had been bumped around in transit the stove looked perfect - exactly like the images online. The manual was written for a layman, and was very clear about how to test and install it. The "dry run" test was simple and showed that it was not damaged during shipping so I installed it (great to have that test mode prior to getting all set up with venting, in case it ends up not working properly). There is a slight smell during the first use which is normal (this is the same for other stoves I've bought). I installed it in a central location on the first floor of a 2-story barn and it has worked flawlessly, heating the entire building easily. Because of the large hopper size it requires very little work to keep it going. It looks antique, which is something I value - people compliment it on it's looks as well as the heat!

Stove is very easy to use. Heats more than enough for our 1200 sq ft. home. We did have to adapt the height to install the stove, due to the opening at the bottom..... other than that, we love it.
