the dimensions are incorrect, the stove is 33 inch long, 11 3/8 wide, 23 inch tall, the fire box is 26-1/2 long. so the stove is smaller than stated. definitly burn outside first, before moving it inside

This is our second winter using this stove and we are pleased with it. We live in North Texas and we have had 2 bad winters in a row. This stove has done an excellent job. It will heat our 1250 sqft home with no problems. We just open all the interior doors and every room is heated. We stoke it at night and use space heaters in the bedrooms. When we get up in the morning the room where the stove is is still warm and reviving the fire take only one or two minutes.
The only issue I have is with the firebox door. The handle is not bent at the proper angle so the opener that came with the stove will not open the door. I use pliers.
We placed a small fan near the stove that blows across the chimney pipe and it heats the house quickly. We do not have central heat so the stove is a must. I hope to get many years of service from this stove.

I recommend you have the first fire in the stove outside before installing. It is very smelly

This stove ships quickly, and all you need to pick up are firebrick, (I used firebrick with sand between the cracks. The stove burns hot, but you will be constantly loading the stove as it is not air tight. It says to only burn wood in the stove, but it would be nice if it were rated to burn coal as well. The stove can hold a decent length log, but width wise through the door isn't the easiest. I installed the stove as an insert into the fireplace, with no room to install a blower, the heat radiates into the fireplace, and provides no noticeable heat. I will be replacing this stove with a much larger one to heat my 800 sq foot home. I would recommend doing more research before buying this stove.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ben7 Great little stove. Breathes well and keeps the fire hot. But like others, it needs to be burned at least twice outdoors to get rid of paint smell.
Not to awfully hard to assemble. Mostly common sense.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by vcastle61 Excellent Product and Great Shipping
This Logwood stove is well made and finished. It has two eyes, a swing away top, a built in dampner, cool touch handles, and free shipping! The stove comes with everything you need except your chimney and firebricks for the bottom.
With the stove you also get a lift handle for the eyes and a great set of instructions. Follow the instructions fully and you should have a stove that will provide years of excellent service.
Once it is installed and set up, you can sit by it and remember the good ol' days, like winter at my grandfather's house!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Butch This wood stove does exactly what it advertises itself as!
We installed this stove into a 300 sq. ft. cabin and it works great. It was 35 degrees outside and the stove was outstanding as this cabin isn't exactly draft free. All cast iron stoves are shipped with a factory applied protectant and when initially fired will smoke and burn paint off in spots, absolutely normal. Once a bed of coals was established I placed a 10" diameter x 20" log in the stove and had a good 4 hours of heat with the vent fully closed and dampened down completely. Still had to open a window to regulate temperature. I did not expect a greater level of performance from a stove that has less than a 2 cu. ft. firebox...great performer...in fact I was quite impressed. The only negative was that I would have prefered that it would have been Made in the U.S.A. in leu of China, especially being manufactured by the U.S. Stove Company.
