Questions & Answers

How high is the exhaust in the back. Was wondering if I could send it out my fireplace in the existing opening.

I don't want to make another hole higher in the brick.
Asked by: chris
The exhaust is 40'' from the bottom to the center flue. This model requires a 2'' vertical be vertical piping.

can the control box be put on the right side opposite side it shows online and does the depth inches include the blower

Want to order but need the controls on opposite side they show, if looking from the front the controls are on the left and I need them on the right.
Asked by: Grannie
Thank you for your questions. The Depth with the blower on it is 29.75. This stove does not have a control board on it is there another stove you are looking at as well?

Customer Reviews

Country Hearth 2,300 sq. ft. Coal / Wood-Burning Stove is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product We purchased this to heat a 24X24 Green house that has an addition the furnace is in the addition that way it does not draft form the greenhouse it works very well and easily heats the green house to 80 deg during the minus temps of Missouri only problem is the shaker handle had to be ground down to clear so we could shake the grate. We found that setting the induction blower on high setting and only opening the slide opening on the blower app 3/8 of inch works best and it keeps fire 10 + hours with a load of good dry oak wood it is a well built furnace. and with the ash drawer its a breeze to clean out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from US Stove wood furnace I guess the best way to describe it is, I'm not burning oil! Nice features, takes a little time to figure out draft setting and so forth. Love the ash pan and how easy it is to remove stove ash. One minor complaint-still a little too smokey when you open the door to add wood. I've tried cracking the door (for several minutes) but there's still a puff of smoke. It's not bad, just a little annoying otherwise I'm quite satisfied with the purchase and the product.
