Product Overview

This US sunlight solar powered attic fan is our most powerful and efficient model yet, ventilating up to 1900 sq. ft. of attic space with a single fan. The new, patent pending, smooth-air deflector design in the shroud of the fan enhances the efficiency of air flow, resulting in increased ventilation performance by up to 30 percent over previous models - powered entirely by free and abundant solar energy.

  • Fan reduces attic heat buildup in the air conditioning usage summer and reduces attic moisture in the winter to decrease mold and mildew growth
  • Professional grade 15 Watt solar panel with tilt and rotate capabilities to maximize solar access
  • Ventilates up to 1900 sq. ft.
  • 14 in. fan blades for maximum ventilation
  • Thermal switch included
  • Easy to install with no electrician, permits or inspections required

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install and works great. The product was easy to install/replace existing attic fan. We are going "green" add recently installed solar power as well as added more insulation to the attic. We also installed the optional control until so the fan will switch to normal power when solar is not available and the attic still needs to be ventilated. The fan is very quiet compared to the old unit. August 10, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Harder to install than they suggest The side screws are placed under the fan hood which means removing the hood or buying a special right angle driver. Putting the hood back on is extremely difficult - trying to line-up an internal deflector, the bracket and the hood holes while sitting on a sloped roof. The mounting holes (19" centers) do not line-up with standard 24" center roof joists so the screws only fasten to the roofing plywood - not good. How can the manufacturer figure its good for hurricane winds without being screwed to a joist? I added a cross member between joists and made sure the screws entered the crossmember as a fix. I suggest the manufacturer modify the width to 26" with holes on 24" centers. That would solve both the problem of the hood covering the screw holes and screws not meeting main structural members. Cheap screws too. One of the heads broke off. June 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best for including AC power Very good fan for using existing AC power: Even on warm summer nights, (or humidity-trapping winter nights) fan will continue to work on the AC power backup, but switches back to solar power automatically when available. Tech Support was very competent - worked through a minor config issue quickly. Controller lets you see what's going on - that's been helpful for a difficult-to-access attic. November 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by controller/remote kit a must have. Great features I am very pleased with units. For the 1st time in 45 years I have total control of temp /humidity ,solar or house power on/off,fan on/off 24/7 sent to remote mount on wall. EXCELLENT 5 star + 5 more. My wife even checks the remote info screen to see if fan is on/off. May 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WE PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED ANOTHER BRAND AND TOOK IT BACK BECAUSE IT NEVER WORK WELL. MY HUSBAND PURCHASED A US SUNLIGHT FAN WITH A SOLAR CONTROLLER AND SO FAR WE HAVE NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN OUR AIR CONDITIONER USE. THERE IS ALSO A 30% FEDERAL TAX CREDIT. October 23, 2012
