Answer: 
Each 2 ft x 4 ft tile is 8 square feet. If the box has 3 tiles there are 24 square feet per box.

I think you're confusing 2 different products (or quantities of the product). If you want to buy at 51 cents per sq ft, you must buy 8 tiles. If you want to buy just 3 tiles, the cost is $18.

Hi GC, it looks like that this ceiling tile (3-pack) is a store exclusive item and only able to be bought in a Home Depot store. Unfortunately we do not sell it with online stock for purchase. I would advise you visit or contact your local Home Depot store for pricing and availability. Hello Dale, thank you for your question regarding the USG Fifth Ave. 2x4 ceiling tiles. Home Depot carries a wide variety of USG's ceiling tiles. Your best bet would be to check with the stores closest to you to see who is carrying this specific tile. There is a search on the Home Depot website that allows you to enter your zip code to find the stores closest to you to aid you in your search.
