I really wanted to give this product only 1 star, but I have to admit that the concept is still pretty cool. I bought it a month ago and immediately noticed how thin it is. When I put it on the roof some of the "basket weaving" was already separated and you could see holes in it. Low and behold, a month later with a few days of rain, it didn't hold up. I'm doing what another reviewer did and going to a heavier tarp and nailing it down. Wish this company made a heavier tarp.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aayan Self-adhesive water/wind barrier
This roof tarp is a must have for your emergency kit which I learned the hard way when hurricane Sandy showed up. For what it costs, it’s a no brainer to have it part of your prompt response in a critical situation.
This tarp is a self-adhesive water/wind barrier that requires no tools or additional man power to spread and secure. Regular tarp will save you some but then you got to get up there with bunch of bricks to hold it, now imagine doing that when it’s pouring with heavy winds. Buy yourself some peace of mind and keep one in your response kit.
Note that this tarp is intended for a single use ONLY. Once adhered, you cannot re-position it. You will remove it by removing the tiles it is adhered to. So, it is a onetime cost for one time use.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mastadruma Damaged Roof? Fix it with UTARPit!
This UTARPit Roofing Tarp has been designed for home or business use, best used when your roof takes damage. This tarp is designed to lay flat on your roof and then has a 3" thick adhesive on the border to peel and seal to the roof. Lay the tarp down, peal the white waxy paper strips off to expose the adhesive strip and press firm to the roof.
This will help in the even your roof takes damage and starts to leak.
This tarp is not very thick. If tarps are rated from 1 to 3 for thickness and long term durability, this tarp is a 1. This doesn't mean it's bad or weak, it's just not meant to stay on long term or be dragged across surfaces. You would not want to put a lot of weight on this tarp and move it. This will cause it to rip.
Overall, this tarp is perfect if you need a 20x25 tarp to cover any damage.
I would also recommend this tarp as a drop cloth.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by remodlr adhesive not very good
Only difference between this and a tarp is the adhesive and the adhesive is not very good and is only a strip around the edge where the plastic cover can get accidently removed and then it doesn't stick to anything

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loakum High Quality Trap that Does It's Job!
I purchased this 20 ft x 25 ft Trap, to fix all the leaks on my roof that caused a hole in the ceiling in my brother's room. The Tarp was super easy to apply, it sticks itself. WE had several severe thunderstorms recently, and not a single drop of water got into my home! This product really works!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ObjectiveReviewer This tarp is huge!
This tarp is huge! I think I underestimated the size of the tarp, but wow is this a great tarp. The tarp is really well made and of such a high quality. I have used cheaper tarps and they tear and rip so easily. It would take a lot to put a tear in this tarp.
I have used this for many home projects and brought it camping to line the ground beneath the tent. I have a really large 8 person tent, and I could fit two of those tents on this one tarp with room to spare! Believe it or not, but it actually acts a s a good ground insulator. Here in Florida you always need tarps on hand in the event of roof damage cause by severe storms, this tarp will definitely do the trick and is absolutely waterproof.

I got this tarp when we were building an enclosed walkway to the basement. The area was approx. 5 x 25 and only had a roof over it. We used this tarp to keep the area clean around the spot we were working. There was a lot of scrap lumber, sheetrock, and other building debris and I did not want it thrown all over the yard or heaped into a pile. Everything was thrown onto this tarp for daily removal and it stood up to the job. We dragged it over small stones, walked on it, and it didn't even rip. I hosed it off after the job was done and put it in the garage for the next use I can find for it. It would work great in case I had any leaks in my roof too. Its HUGE.

Couldn't find this tarp at my local HD store, but was happy to oder it online. We sprang a small water leak in our vacation cottage during the last rain. Once this arrived we climbed on the roof and got this installed over the area where we thought the water might be coming through. It went on easily, good adhesion. It is on the thinner side so it wouldn't be ideal for long term use or an area where there are jagged, rough edges. We got another rain recently and so far it is holding. We just finished sheet rocking and texturing the walls so we are so thankful that we got this on the roof when we did to avoid water damage on our newly remodeled walls and ceiling. It will be several months before we replace the roof so we are hoping this will endure until then.
My only complaint is how thin it is.
