The finished tarp size is smaller than the package states. Unfortunately the adhesive doesn't seal out water if used on a flat roof with standing water along an edge. This tarp along with a good outdoor adhesive tape has worked so far......

Perfect tarp for everyday work... Used it to temporarily cover the lawn mower and tiller that I borrowed from the local recreation center\. This was just what I needed to get the job done and more. Now it is folded up and I will be using it again in the spring when my Mustang comes home to cover it while we strip the engine compartment. Sturdy material that cab take care of the things I am going to cover. The best part is I have a smaller tarp that I use to collect leaves in the fall, this will cut my time in half with a larger.
Superior materials sewing is precise and the ability to use as a tempo tent make this a must have for any DIY'r

The UTARPit 8 x 10 does what the manufacture says. It is a tarp that only takes one person to put into place. It has self adhesive tape that is very easy to just push down and secure. You can use it on barrel tile, ashphalt, shingles, slate, fiberglass, concrete and metal surfaces. Very versatile for any use. No need for a hammer and nails or sandbags for weight. You can use this tarp for any roof damage, to prevent any further leaks. I put the tarp over my shed, some shingles have come off and I don't want water to leak in. I had no problem putting it in place by myself. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great weather proof tarp.

This is a standard blue tarp that you see anywhere. Wanted this tarp for general use around the house. Recently planted two 75gallon trees. Had to dig nearly 8ft diameter, 2 1/2ft deep holes, Used the tarp to hold the dirt and not cover the lawn. Worked great, After placing the tress in the holes, shoveled the dirt back into the holes, I would take the ends of the tarp, lift up and force the dirt into the middle of tarp. Tarp held up great, After finishing both holes, sprayed washed the dirt off, dried and folded for future use. Very pleased.

Excellent product that shines when unexpected roof damage occurs. Like a traditional tarp this is made of the same look quality but with the added bonus of being specifically designed to attach to a shingle, tile or concrete roof material without nailing through the tarp or the existing roof structure. Excellent, and essential, product to have on hand - especially if you live in an area with tropical weather activity. It will let you quickly patch damage until a permanent repair can be completed.

I did not have the opportunity to use this product for a temporary roof patch as was intended but it served me well as an alternate use in covering up a replacement engine I ordered for a car restoration project. The engine arrived and was deposited in my yard on a pallet so I decided to cover it up since I could not move the engine into the garage until I returned from the Thanksgiving Holidays. It rained heavily for almost 3 days and with the Blue roofing tarp my engine at outdoors was fully protected from the elements. I am certain there are multiply uses this tarp can and may be utilized. My next home project requires the use of replacing a large bay window in the living room and this would serve as a temporary patch until the the replacement window is installed. There are so many uses for this tarp and I believe it is a must have and will prove to be a valuable asset and will last for many years to come for various types of projects for the home owner. A must have if you own a home.

I got a 10'x12' tarp for use in case of a storm and any damage that may occur, so fortunately, no storms yet. When I inspected the tarp it seems to be very well made and durable. I wasn't able to damage it at all with pulling or stretching. There is ample self-adhesive on the sides so it needed I am certain it will stick well. The are ample metal (aluminum?) reinforced holes on the edges of the tarp for additional securing if necessary, but the adhesive is very sticky so I do not think it will be necessary, depending on the type of roof or area it is used on. The edges of the seams are doubled over and there are no holes for water to soak through.
Back in the package for storage until needed.

The tarp works so far but we have only had a drizzle. It has not come through to the ceiling like the water did on the last summer rain. We are waiting to see how it works during the next heavy rain, and maybe I'll change the rating. It will not stick well on a rock/hot tar roof, but maybe it is not meant for that. Weighted down, it seems to hold so far.
