Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did what it said it woud do! I did my math and research before I did my shopping and knew I needed 1500 watts running wattage to run sensitive electronic equipment. Runs in Economy mode my whole set up. 70 inch Plasma Bose surround sound sys Dell computer internet satellite sys DVD player Fan large printer So far so good , started out of the box on the second pull. Keep my fingers crossed. January 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome generator!! This is a great little generator! It really light and easy to carry around. It is incredibly quiet, I couldn't believe it when I fired it up!! I tested this with my Fluke multimeter and found the voltage to be right at 124 volts. When I fired up a 1500 watt heatgun the voltage would dip to 122 volts for a split second and then right back to 124. I hooked up my oscilloscope to the outlet and found it to have a perfect 60hz sine wave and retained the nice clean wave when I fired up the heatgun. I had it on econo mode when I did these tests too! It did kick the idle up when I started the heat gun and leveled right out. The only problem I had with this was when I was putting the oil in. It tells you to add just under 1/2 quart of oil before starting. I used the included funnel and added the recommended amount of oil and found it pouring out of the motor when I pulled the funnel out. It apparently had a little oil in there, so be careful when filling it!! Other than that I love this little generator! March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lite weight unit Took delivery of my unit in one week as promised. After putting in the oil (which is a pain, with no measurng cup provided, so oil spilled out) and adding gas, it only needed two pulls to start it. I am using the gen for my travel trailer ( I also have a Champion 4kw, but is noisy) to power stuff like the microwave. I tested it with a 1500w heater with no problem. the ECON mode is great, it's so quiet. All in all, this is a very nice unit, especially if it last as long as my larger gen I bought back in '08.
