We've had this canopy for a year, we bought it exactly one year ago today. We set up the canopy last weekend and left it up for a BBQ this weekend. We had an uncalled for rain last night and this morning our canopy was crushed. It is a good price for what you get. The directions clearly say not to leave it in the wind and rain it will not hold up. I'm just upset that I can't order a new frame as I like how easy it was to use and the look is very nice in our yard. I will be shopping for an item with a better structure.

We wanted a deck on the small lake behind us so I built it. It was too hot in the sun to use so we tried an umbrella. Not what we'd hoped for. Then I saw this canopy, bought one and put it up. Perfect! Except I left it up without checking the weather one night and a combination of rain and wind reduced it to rubble. I was not going to buy another but I did and am glad. It goes up in about 20 minutes with some practice and comes down in about 10. So, if there's any chance of rain or wind, it comes down. With the idea you should plan to put it up and take it down frequently, it's wonderful. Not only shady but it creates an open, inviting, comfortable room as you can see in the pictures.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by mharris2013 Buyer Beware - Extremely poor construction
This canopy did not last for 2 hours in heavy rain. The frame crumpled and bent under the weight of 5 - 10 gallons of water that somehow pooled in each corner. The product is now destroyed after only 1 use.
Poor design. Poor craftsmanship. Looks pretty, but only suitable for perfect weather (when you may not actually need to use it).

Product collapsed into a pile of cloth and twisted metal the second time it rained. A complete waste of money.
