I found 3D Star of Bethlehem tree toppers to be very difficult to find in any price range. This star was the best I could find, but is far from ideal. The star itself was easy to assemble and was pretty on its own. The problem is that it only has a clear 3-inch cylinder which attaches to the bottom beam of the star to attach it to the tree. It did not work well on my tree. It was unstable and to even get it to stay there at all I had to nestle it so far into the top of the tree, it looked funny. Next year I'll have to jerry-rig some kind of stick to hold it up straight so it will look nice. Disappointing.

I loved the look of this topper on our tree! I have a larger version outside for decoration and was so glad to have a matching one that I can enjoy inside!

Rated 1 out of 5 Looks nothing like the picture!
This thing is simply ugly. It looks so cut on there almost like it is sort of made of paper or something. It dosent actually look like that, it is thick clunky plastic. I took mine back to the store.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Patricia This was the only star I found that I could find tha sat firmly on the top of my outside tree and lit up.
I grew my own. "Christmas tree" in central Florida by training a Passion flower vine to wind around a tomato cage stuck into a container. I shaped the top by pulling the rods together at the top. I had a hard time finding a tree topper that would sit firmly on top and then plug into the other lights that I wound around the tree. The result was very eye catching at a very reasonable price.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by keeneye Looks red when lit up
I put this together when it arrived (no worries, it took only a few minutes), plugged it in, and it looked nothing like the photo. In the middle of the star, where all of the spikes connect to middle piece, it looks reddish. It's made of plastic, and I am assuming its just the way the plastic is made (see through) in combination with the bulb that makes it look funny. Sad! Otherwise it's cool looking. I didn't turn on the light, I just set it on top of the tree.
