There's no better deal out there than this gazebo. It looks great, was easy to put together and so wonderfully priced. I would have liked other color choices but for $200 you can't beat the deal. We put our poles in pots loaded down with rocks, so we can add flowers around all 4 poles in the next few days. We also made sure the pots have drainage holes, which we covered with a screen. Last we shimmied pieces of wood under each pot to protect the deck. It only took 2 or 3 lazy hours for my husband and I to put this gazebo together. Only thing left to do is add our flowers. I feel this is a quality product that will last at least 5 years with a replacement canopy which can be found at Garden Winds online (Home Depot doesn't carry the replacement canopies at this time). But who knows. Maybe the frame will last even longer than that. Again, well worth the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zaelok If you are on the fence about umbrella or canopy, this is the way to go
1) good value, looks nice, same (or lower) price as a patio umbrella, but spacious, you can easily put a 7 piece patio set under this canopy
2) with $200 I was not expecting high quality, but this canopy is not bad at all. about 110 lbs, not too heavy but it won't be blow off by breeze
3) regardless that you may not be able to install it by your own, it's easy to put components together.
1) no you cannot do it by yourself, you need at least someone to help you, and ladder is a must,
2) the installation guide does not warn you at the beginning that you need pegs to secure the canopy, so choose where to put it wisely, at least read the installation guide once before you work on it.
3) you need weight bags to secure it

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by wingingaway One storm took it out completely
"Best for use in favorable weather, this is not a permanent structure and should not be used in high wind conditions or in heavy rain." They're not kidding - one storm (just a regular thunderstorm, not a hurricane or anything) took out the whole thing. Amazingly, the cover didn't rip, but six of the eight roof poles and one of the side panels either bent or broke entirely, and all of the brackets that held the roof poles onto the side panels are twisted and bent. Since no replacement parts are available, it's a total loss. I wouldn't expect this to make it through a tornado or anything, but I am disappointed that it couldn't stand up to a thunderstorm. The instructions say to remove the cover before inclement weather, but it is extremely difficult to take it off and put it back on (especially alone), and that also assumes weather forecasts will be accurate. In short: if you live somewhere where it storms, do not buy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BringOnTheSun2015 Great buy!
This canopy was easy to install, the directions were easy to read and follow. I ended up turning on the radio and taking my time in the sun to assemble this canopy. I had to have my wife come help me with move the four final leg support parts in place, besides that its pretty easy to do yourself. Once we had it installed I added a 303 product to protect the canvas additionally from the southern sun rays and also to repel some more rain. I anchored this down with some simple deck screws and after 2 days of being up we had about 4 days straight of gusty winds and a couple thunderstorms. Our hot tub cover was knocked off the hot tub, but right next that was this canopy - it remained solid and no issues during the entire weather event! I would highly reccomend this to anyone looking to add some easy shade to their deck. Also: it was a big concern for me to be able to walk under the side openings and not smash my head into a pole or support beam, I'm 6'-2" and I can clean the entire structure walking underneath it with about 1" to 2" to spare. Hope this helps anyone looking into this.
Oh BTW the shipping came a week early to the store, woo-hoo!

For the price this is a good product. I tried to assemble it by myself, and ran into difficulty....but with two people it's far easier than I first thought. I sprayed the canopy top with scotchguard / waterproofing before putting it on, but there are two seams that once the canopy is stretched on they show light through the stiches and water drips through. Still the product is a good quality for the cost. I am only a little disappointed that it drips from the seam since I was looking for both shade and rain protection....after all it does rain quite a bit around here. I am still pleased with my purchase and will enjoy the use of it.

The gazebo came in one box approximately 100 lbs. The pieces were individually wrapped in protective foam wrap. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mototlv22 Very nice canopy
For the money, this is a very nice canopy! It looks great and provides a lot of shade. Breezes can travel through it nicely and it is roomy enough to sit under it and not feel like you are in a tent. The structure is excellent, looks great, and seems very sturdy. It was easy to put together in just a couple of hours. I did need a hand from my wife in the step to get the frame fully standing, but other than that I did it myself.
The one slight downfall is that it is truly meant for shade and not shelter. As other reviews have mentioned (so I expected it when I purchased) the canopy leaks in the rain. Light rain your okay, but heavy rain you will get wet. There is a couple of seams that run across the top of the canopy that water can get through and the material that the canopy is made of is not water resistant. I will most likely try to find something to seal it up a little, possibly some clear silicone and Scotchguard, we'll see. I did mount it on some blocks to raise it up so the edge of the canopy overlaps the gutters of the house, this way I will stay dry while I am grilling.
My deck was very hot in the summer and I didn't spend much time out there, I like being outside but prefer shade due to a past run in with skin cancer. Just a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I stayed out there ALL day, very comfortably, just talked, read a little, and had some drinks. It was a great day! I am working on the rest of deck to make it look better so I don't make the canopy look bad!
I would recommend this if you are seeking some good shade on a small budget.
