What can I say: if all the existing studs are steel studs you tend stick with steel studs when doing repairs. Easy to work with but they offer only nominal support.I think the original ones in the 80s had a little more beef to them. Cheap in every sense of the word.
Of course what I really want to know is: when I type ALUMINUM into the search field for building materials, why does this show up 4th on the product list? Do they think I dont know what I'm looking for?

nice product. good substitute for wood. I am putting a floor on a horse barn that has dirt floor. This is a good substitute for Pressure Treated Wood, although that would be okay too.
