CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great For My Project! I am currently working on making a patio area behind my home, using 12-inch square stepping stones. I didn't want to dig (the traditional way of installing stepping stones), so I decided to build the ground "up". I did some research on-line and found that I could use this type of lumber to build a "box" above ground. It comes in 3 lengths - 8 feet, 10 feet and 12 feet - which was very helpful and made my project a lot easier. Plus, the wood is already stained a brown color, so there is no need to stain or paint it. Once the pieces to the "frame" of the box were cut and layed out, I leveled the ground beneath them and fastened the pieces of wood together. I then secured them to the ground by drilling through the wood, into the ground and hammering 12-inch pieces of rebar through. I layed out weed barrier fabric, filled the "box" with sand and began laying the stepping stones on top. Wa-la! Instant patio! I also used it to square off a garden area that will be filled with rubber mulch. June 13, 2012
