I just purchased this door at a great price of $229.00, I am very pleased at the first week of purchase. I hope that it doesn't do all the things that the other reviewers are claiming. If it does any of the things that the other viewers are claiming, like warping, stains from the sun, I will take it back, because it comes with a Lifetime Warranty!!! This door also had an add-on at the same store with a beautiful full door in-cased Venitian blind that hangs and clamps in place, my door was a 36X80 and the venitian blind incasement required a 22X72 add on frame for it to easily a fix to 400 Series White door just to cover the 12 window panes. (for $117.00) . My door is not a self-storing door like the description says above, Instead, it was 36X80" door that had the rectangular 12 panes pattern from top to bottom. The in-cased venitian blind easily hangs on the inside of this door, right over the window panes. Which makes the blinds, dust-free, bend-free, all in-cased in glass. It looks beautiful!!!!! This upgrade turned my bedroom WINDOW into a beautiful balcony DOORWAY in my bedroom!!!

This is a beautiful door easy to use. My installer had no problem installing. Love it.

The door warped after about a yr. It never closed right either. It kind of defeats the purpose of even having one. Very disappointed! Not even sure if there is anything that I can do about it.

The directions were not correct and misleading causing mistakes. We would suggest you have an above average understanding of putting together a screen door because the directions at times make no sense! I don't understand why it says it is an Aluminum clad door...perhaps the aluminum is under the steel...This is not an Aluminum door it is a steel door with wood core(which is press board so it makes it a heavy door) Because it is a steel door they tell you right in the directions to go out and purchase stainless steel screws or your door exterior will fail and voids the warranty because the screws it came with are not stainless steel and will rust over time and destroy the steel. This a time consuming project that requires a lot of tools and of course a trip to the hardware store for Stainless Steel screws. In the end the door looks very nice but would not recommend it to anyone unless you really don't like the person. And if you hire someone to do it they will charge you to make extra trips to hardware store for the screws and even for a pro this is a very long project. So i would suggest paying by the project and not by the hour.

As this is a reversable door it comes completly unassembled. It took some time to sort the parts but it all went together fine. None of the holes required for the lock are factory drilled so you better have both 1/2 and 3/4 inch drill bits. Also the wood core is not inside the entire door, I found this out when I relocated the closer slightly lower than the 2" the instructions indicated to match the existing frame mount. The aluminum took the screws fine but I wish they were into wood, hope it holds. I also added a check chain and spring (not included) to the top of the door as the wind in my area can rip the door right out of your hand.
