CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 1 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Handy to have but disappointing We always come up short on switch cover screws because they get lost too easily. A handi-pak of screws seems like a good idea. However this product is disappointing. Expensive, and dubious quality. Four bucks for 25 small screw is expensive: 31 cents to do a switch-cover. You can find economy covers w/screws for not much more; sometimes less over at the discount store. Over in the hardware aisle you can get 20 similar screws for 7 cents each (28364), or _370_ for 2 cents each (00441). But the real problem is the paint. It's thin on the face and very gloppy under the head. The glops keep the screw head from seating in the cover (or tear-up wood covers); the face chips much too easy. This isn't so hard to do: most covers come-with better screws. Perhaps Crown should subcontract this product to a dedicated switchcover manufacturer. May 11, 2013
