I shopped around a lot for bricks before deciding on these. Now that my retaining wall is up, I am meeting neighbors who stop by to say how nice it looks. The best thing about these was the ease of installing them I bought almost 500 and only 2 had cracks. I used those in pieces since I had to go around roots. Overall, I recommend these to anyone who wants a different look. When they are wet, they change colors and the red becomes very vibrant!

started out with a small expansion to my patio. I was so happy with that I decided to expand the patio on the other side. Wow - that was not to bad and I think I did a pretty good job considering I had never done this type of stuff before (thank goodness for the Internet) but I thought it needed a little trimming to make it look nicer so I found these wall pavers and liked the way it gave a "finished " appearance to my project so that is how I was introduced to wall pavers. I ended up buying a lot of them to frame in both expansions. They went together real easy and gave a landskaped appearance to my work! Probably did not need it but I felt more comfortable going back and putting a little mortar in a few places (mainly the edges) just to give the wall a bit more strength so that when I pull the hose accross the patio or yard if I catch the wall I won't pull it down. When I did that project I just did a three row mini wall just for decoration. When I was finished with that I had several pavers left over and got to looking around to see what I could think of to do with them and thought I would try to build a small ring or circle around my fire pit. It is a cheaper pit and I have always thought it looked a little bare or flimsy if you will so I went to work with the pavers! Guess what - I loved the results! Made that pit look like it was made out of concrete stones I think. So, all finished with those jobs I wondered around looking for something else I could get into and thought that I would do more expanding to the patio! It is now HUGH! But I think it is great! At any rate now I need to start buying more wall pavers because not only do I have a lot more trimming to do but I think I will take them to five high in rows. That will be handy to sit on or put your pop can on if you are not close to a table while sitting outside. Might not be a professional job but I am very happy with it. Who says a woman can't do stuff like that! I guess what makes me like it so much is that I have done the whole thing by myself one paver and stepping stone at a time!

I purchased over 300 blocks for my project. Easy to install and a Great look to boot. I just wished that I could get the matching wall caps to put the finishing touch of professionalism on the project. I ended up using the gray wall caps as the top to the bottom Red Charcoal blocks. The contrast of the two colors works fine, but would have prefered the Red Charcoal caps instead of the grays.
