Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Rockers The rockers were easy to put together, but I did use a bar clamp before screwing it together. I also paint mine before putting together and I do have to say they came out great. Paint the white chair with LSU colors and the black chair with Saints colors November 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rocking chair has the exact features that I wanted and good seat height. I gave it a fair rating for quality because both chairs arrived with a nickel sized dent on the left slat in the same place on both chairs. The paint was also chipped on both of those places. Paint is starting to chip off arms. These rockers sit on a covered porch. This is not the quality I expected especially after owning them for 4 weeks. April 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by These look great on the front porch of a home. I purchased two of these rockers for the front porch of my home. The assembly instructions are clear but I did have some trouble putting them together. If you are not a handy person then you will have some trouble. The chair back and all of the spindles had a build up of excess paint which made it impossible to insert them into their respective holes. After removing the excess paint the assemby went pretty smoothly until the final step where you install the seat screws. The seat screws don't even come close to aligning with the predrilled holes in the seat. I had to drill my own holes to complete the seat attachment. Assembly of the first chair took me about 2 hours. The assembly of the second chair took me about 1 hour. TIP # 1 - Sanding the excess paint from the spindles by hand takes too long. I just carefully used the wire brush wheel on my bench grinder.... quick and easy! TIP # 2 - I applied self-adhesive felt strips (1/2" x 34") to the underside of the runners to protect the painted floor of my front porch.... see photo. June 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice chairs for our front porch I ordered 2 of these chairs for my wife for Christmas. They were delivered ahead of schedule and in good shape. Home Depot seems to always beat their timeline for delivery. The chairs were fairly easy to put together but I would like to make a few suggestions to any future customers. They go together much easier if you have access to a couple 24" or longer wood working clamps to draw the mortises together. A couple were quite tight, which is good for its rigidity but it makes it somewhat difficult to seat the mortise joints and I don't think its a good idea to pound them together or try to draw them together with the screws. Another suggestion I have is using wax or slideez lubricant on the screws for ease of insertion and to avoid splitting the wood or stripping out the hole. Be very careful not to over tighten them. My wife was very pleased with the chairs and I feel they are of very good quality for the price. December 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bradley white rocker That rocker was exactly as expected. However it was difficult for me to put together. I had one 90% put together when i gave up and took it (and one still in the box) to HD in Fuquay Varina NC. I was expecting a hassle but definitely not the case.! Al was very pleasant and very helpful and put both chairs together in no time. He also said anytime i needed help to have him paged and he would help me. Now that is extreme customer service!
