This is a high quality, heavy duty 2 piece western red cedar 3/4 in. thick diagonal lattice panel that when placed in a 96 in. fence panel with a 2x4 spacer in between creates an architectural quality lattice fence topper spanning within a 96 in. fence panel. There are many alternate uses for these sections used individually or in pairs as they are sold. Possibly create a 2x4 frame and stand them vertically to create a nominal 48 in. semi private front yard fence system. You can also combine with store bought 2x4 to save on freight and create custom trellis, garden edging, air conditioner, garbage can or utility box screens; or conceal the underside of decks or mobile homes among other uses. Western Red Cedar is well known for it is natural oils that resist decay and withstand harsh environments. However, we highly recommend staining these panels as part of the fence or trellis immediately upon installation or they will naturally grey due to the sun is natural Ultra Violet rays. Our use of galvanized fasteners and a sound frame structure allows for easy Do-It-Yourself projects. Simply install with nails or screws through the frame and into a surrounding structure of your own design.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great for my fencing project I used this product as a barrier along the bottom perimeter of my deck; which is in good shape but is older and has very wide spacing between the railings. (Adding these panels a couple of inches up from the deck floor keeps my dogs from flinging themselves off the edge.) I liked that the panels are framed, making it look finished along the top and bottom (rather than ragged lattice that would need trim added). I did not have any problems with warping or knots; and only one out of 14 sections had to have the frame slightly tacked back together before installation. It's a little pricey, compared to unframed lattice - but it was easier to work with and the finished product looks much better. July 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I was looking for I needed a pair of diagonal lattice pieces to complete a cedar arbor I was having built. Since these were available only online, I arranged to have Home Depot send them directly to the carpenter who was building my arbor. He was thrilled with the quality and with the way they fit together with the arbor. Now his wife wants an identical arbor. So, you should be getting another order very soon. Nice quality cedar! Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by plan on re-nailing the corners and clamping to hold flat. Very dissappointed in the quality control. If only the operator saw that their corner nails were not even close to being right. Ordered 5 sets or 10 lattice pieces. 4 physically fell apart and 2 were very badly warped. I ended up taking a nail gun and rehitting all the corners. Had to make a special fixture to clamp down two of the lattices while I screwed a frame around them. In the end this lattice capped off my40' long x 6' tall fence making it 7'5" and the job looks pretty good. May 23, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fix Fence Existing fence wood was falling apart, this is just what I needed to fix fence. It turned out so well and I am ordering 2 more. October 7, 2014
