I purchased this because there seemed to be pretty good reviews. Once I received I realized the "featherlight" stones were indeed made of feathers. They had fibers sticking out and would not have lasted anytime. Luckily I found a kit at Lowes which had real stone pavers for $100 less. Do not buy.

I was skeptical at first but it is real concrete, it is very light considering the other stone and concrete fire pit options. I picked it up from Home Depot and put it in the back of my wife's mini van, i did have to take it out piece by piece when I got home. I had it put together in 10 minutes, it looks and feels like a professionally built fire pit in my yard with out the work or expense. So far I've had it set up for a month and it we've enjoyed...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sue1 This was exactly what we hoped for!!! Beyond happy
We had just redone our entire beach and patio area. This fire pit was an easy addition!!! It was light weight yet very solid construction! Sets up beyond easy. The stone don't not sustain heat so even though they are not very large you will not burn yourself. The extra think Metal interior ring was better then expected! Overall excellent!!! I know a couple of our friends have already ordered one as well!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Peter LIGHTWEIGHT BUT....
It's lightweight one by one block that's fine however the blocks are very very delicate and chip easily. I'm worried that it won't last thru the summer and winter. Very expensive for extrmely poor quality. For 300$ bucks the blocks should be stronger and not chip on contact.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by john buy the real thing
Very poor quality. Stones were chipped and were cumbersome to set up. Once in place the blocks have no structural integrity. Wated money on this based off a referral. Tossed them in the garbage and ordered the "real" concrete kit. Save yourself the headache and buy a concrete kit. Cheap cheap cheap
