Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 19 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by I don't understand how they did it I have been working with tools my entire life. I have owned many tool boxes from many major brands including Craftsman, Matco, and Snap on. I would never consider buying this chest from the website description and pricing alone, I would have passed it off as a product that is built to fill a popular size and look good in pictures, but disappoint in real life. It wasn't until I checked it out in store that I was sold. I expected flimsy construction, drawers that rack when opening and closing, etc. Do yourself a favor and check this box out - I can not believe they built this quality into a tool chest at $100. By far the best value I have ever found in a tool box. September 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not Flimsy all I had to do was grease the ball bearings before I put my tools in it. It is Heavier than I expected, both in weight and metal guage. It is pretty sturdy. Locking mech's work good, plenty of room for tools. It does need the matching bottom roller cabinet though, It is too heavy to carry with tools in it.. April 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by very satisfied I am a retired diesel mechanic i've bought snapon/ matco/ mac when i had to medically retire i had to sell my 100 thousand dollars worth of tools to keep my house I guees no one needs my life history anyway i bought this box recently and i was amazed at the quality it blew me away i have a craftsman box that is fairly new and it is really flimsy sad how far craftsman has gone down hill! I recomend this box even to the profesional mechanic please excuse spelling NICE BOX May 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Chest Just as good, if not better, than the overpriced alternatives. Definitely glad I purchased this chest and will go back and buy the matching cabinet. The only disappointing thing is the keys but Ill see if I can get them copied to something close to normal. November 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not an old Craftsman I had an old Craftsman toolbox that I sold a few years back when I got rid of my jeep. Finally wanted to replace it, but craftsman toolboxes are not what they used to be so I thought I would try a Husky. Out of the box, the top back corners were both bent. Doesn't hinder opening and closing, so not worth the trouble of returning. The steel is light/medium gage. The pinch welding is so so quality. The lock/key is kind of weak. If it was a bit heavier duty, and if they were not handled so poorly in shipping then it would be rated higher. It will do the job, but gone are the days of the great Craftsman boxes, and my needs/pocket book don't warrent the cost of the "pro" tool boxes. September 26, 2014
