Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Richie Valve failure creates serious flood risk
When the rubber seal at the top of the fill valve fails, the valve shutoff fails, and the tank continues filling non-stop. There is no redundant valve shutoff. If the overflow tube can't handle the constant water flow the toilet tank will spill over and flood the bathroom.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RobertO11 DON'T FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BLINDLY!
This valve installs very easily -- I had a much harder time removing the old valve than installing this one.
Just don't follow the installation instructions blindly. They tell you that the top of the valve has to sit almost at the height of the tank itself. WRONG... or maybe wrong, it depends on how tall is your flush valve. If your flush valve is only half the height of the tank's overall height, you have to install the HC660 fill valve at its shortest height or else, water will overflow into the flush valve causing ghost flushing. Observe how it fills the tank and take the time to tweak it -- your wallet will thank you when the next water bill comes.
Something super-awesome is the tank-cleaning tube. I thought it'd be just a gimmick but it actually does clean the tank or water deposits!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rodders does not fit standard 1.6g tank
It has a top tube connection to go to the overflow tank tube and it has a bottom tube connection for the tube laying in the bottom of the tank. The bottom tube fouls the 3" flapper, and it has a permanent kink in it so it would not lay flat in the bottom even if it did not foul the flapper.
The top and bottom tubes point in different directions about 90 degrees apart and there is insufficient adjustment to make them both point in the general direction (which would be a max of about 10 degrees difference) so I returned it before ever getting operational. Looks like it was assembled wrongly. Some clever designs but a basic design flaw.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ITRobert Junk!!!
I purchased this product to replace the one which was in use for the last 7 years and finally died on us. The design was appealing to me and it worked fine... for three month.
To me this is junk, you decide for yourself.
After replacing it today with a totally different model, I opened it to see what made it fail. My verdict is the bad design as if it was meant to last al long as it did. I will contact the manufacturer to take advantage of the stated 6 years warranty, on the other hand it's probably a lot of hustle for only 10 bucks and not worth my effort. This is why I am writing this eye -opening review.
My advice: Stay away from this junk!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by hdshopper Noisy while it lasted, which was not long
The valve attaches to the tank like all common brands. It has a nice, long inlet tube that lies along the bottom of the tank that is very effective preventing the buildup of sediment. In addition, the water flow to the overflow tube of the flush valve is adjustable. This allows you to save water by not overfilling the toilet bowl.
Unfortunately, these standout features can't overcome a noisy and unreliable valve. Mine failed in same manner as the video I linked (disclaimer: not my video). While it worked, it was very noisy with a strong inrush of water. Reducing the water flow from the main water supply didn't help.
My advice is to stay away from this valve.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wilson79 Super clean tank
I bought this in addition to the HydroRight Dual Flush converter to update my toilet to be more Eco friendly. I didn’t think keeping sediment in the tank was a big deal until I found that some of that built up sediment later gets caught in the rim holes and can be a cause of flushing issues. I recommend thoroughly cleaning the tank and rim holes while installing this product. The jets are a little weird to see at first but it creates a whirl pool in your tank forcing materials to move and be flushed away…not letting them build up on the bottom of your tank. It took me about 25 minutes to remove, clean, and replace all parts.

I have a very expensive Kohler toilet and had a Hydroclean water savings fill valve for 14 years. Replaced with Hydroclean and it lasted 5 months. Home Depot took it back and its replacement lasted 4 days. Also, this one leaked. Going back today and decided to try another manufacturer. Lordie! Who needs this? Maybe the batch of these sitting on the shelf were made by someone drinking on the assembly line.
