My wife did most of the installation, since I have an artificial knee and can't kneel on it. I did the gopher work. We are in our 60's and it was a snap. We installed it on over 1,750 sq ft of floor in our entire house, except the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We also saved over $ 1,400.00 through Homedepot.com . We have received only compliments from all that have seen it. It is also so easy to keep clean. Jim and Louise

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mpower1952 Dupont Natural Hickory Laminate?
Why the question mark? Because the Dupont Natural Hickory Laminate flooring looks so real everyone asks, "Is it really laminate?"
After 10 years, my family room carpet needed replacing. Since the room connects to a hall, the front foyer, and the kitchen, we decided to redo them all in laminate.
For several months, I had been looking for just the right flooring to go with my decorating scheme. When I saw the Dupont Natural Hickory laminate with its hand scraped look in the natural hickory design, I immediately fell for it. And lo and behold, my husband agreed.
I've had it for several months now, and with a dog, two cats, and two college students plus friends, it looks as beautiful today as the day it was installed.
Cleaning is a snap. Mostly I dust mop, (all that animal hair), and when it needs a good washing, I add vinegar to some warm water and damp mop. A little extra rubbing takes off any scuff marks and the vinegar cuts through any kitchen grease without leaving a soap residue.
I can't say enough about the look and quality of this product. With the realistic grain marks, and attached underlayment, the floor looks, feels, and sounds like real wood. With the matching quarter round, it has an rich yet casual look, which I'm sure someday will add to the resale value of my home.
Can't wait until my other flooring needs replacing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WierdWalt123 This flooring is very durable!!!
I've had this flooring down in my bedroom for over four years and shows no wear or deteriation at all, even with two large dogs and their toenails. It looks as good today as it did the day I put it down. I am now going to do my other bedrooms. The only downside is when walking on it you make a small amount of noise, but not annoying.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bbj tricky to install
the floor looks beautiful and it is easy to clean. my issue is with the installation. it was put in a hallway, 40" wide and 16 1/2 ' long. connecting the planks was very cumbersome. in fact, i have discovered that a few of the planks have shifted and are not tightly connected anymore. to be honest, it very well could be the fault of the installer (a non-professional) and the fact that the space is very tight. but it really is a beautiful floor and having an actual grain instead of a smooth finish makes the floor look like natural wood.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Harried Beautiful But...
We have laid about 400 sq. ft. of the 900 sq. ft. that we purchased. The floor looks beautiful and I am sure we will like it for years to come. It does get five stars for appearance! However, we have found it vert difficult to install. The joints are quite fragile and as a result we have ruined a number of planks which we are trying to use in closets, etc. We have also found several planks that were apparently damaged in transit. Even though the underlayment is attached, I would give it only 3 stars for ease of insallation.

I bought this online and had it delivered to the house which was much easier for me. The instructions from Dupont are weak at best. Their online support is even worse. I called them on a Friday prior to starting my job and they did not return my call till the following Tuesday at which point I was already done.
The flooring is a good product and looks great. The installation is fairly simple. It does help to have someone else to help you. You need to put an entire row together and then install the entire row at once. Also put some duct tape on the bumping tool to prevent chipping the laminate.
I installed 10 boxes in approximately 8 hrs. The room looks great!

My girlfriend and I have a double wide manufactured home with plywood floor. The carpet was in need of replacement so we started looking at Home Depot for flooring. The sales staff was very helpful and was a key factor in our purchase of this flooring. We had thought we would install wood flooring but after talking to the sales professional we decided to have the nautral Hickory laminate installed. "We could not be happier".
The flooring looks like real wood and adds so much comfort to the house we hardly want to leave.
We had 3 bedrooms a hall and living room done.
The installers, which Home Depot arranged, had the job done in 8 hours. We were very suprised as we were told at the time of purchase it would take 3 days.
I have nothing but great things to say about this flooring the installers and the professionals at Home Depot. Thanks you so much for a wonderful experience and keep up the good work.

I had planned for months to have ceramic tile layed in my kitchen. I started to hear so many horror stories from my friends with children about the possible expensive mishaps that could happen. I started to shop around for something that I could try myself. When I saw the this tile on display in the store I was amazed because it looks real and also sturdy. I told a friend and they said that they had just completed a floor in their home with the same product. I went to see it and fell in love. We made a great decision in purchasing and installing this flooring.
Thank you Home Depot
