I found it to be comfortable in many ways! A must have!

I needed a basic round toilet seat for a height extender that I was installing on my toilet. I usually prefer the ones with the slow/quiet closing lids but that kind has built-in screws that are not long enough for the
3 1/2"extended height. This lid fit perfectly and now I have a much needed conversion that has greatly reduced the stress on my arthritic knees. And the price (which at first I thought was marked in error) is the icing on the cake. The only negative is that it is a basic wooden seat and not as comfortable as my ergonomically designed slow closing lid seat. But that does not outweigh the stress relief on my knees.

The plastic hinges don't hold the seat in place. The seat is supposed to snap on but it doesn't stay. I'm a 5'5 female that weighs 115 lbs and it pops off with every use. Do not buy, you'll just land up replacing it with another one.

So far, so good. I am always a little weary of plastic hardware, but it is holding up quite nicely for the moment. Nothing seems to be loosening with time and use, and it's sparkling like new after a couple months--the main reason we replaced our old one.

This toilet seat is just the ticket. To be honest, I'm not at all clear how these things can be made to such a high level of quality, then shipped halfway around the world and distributed to Home Depot stores, and then sold for such a low price. Whatever the answer to that one is, I'm sure pleased with the results.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HD123456 Toilet seat cracked already. Had to replace with new seat.
Seat was easy to install but broke last week. I'm 5" 11" and 230 pounds. First time my fat butt ever broke a wooden toilet seat. So I'm voting the seat was junk and I got what I paid for. Yesterday I bought a Kohler plastic seat from Loews for my Kohler toilet.

This was a Sturdy seat, but less than a few month all the paint is coming off , very disappointed. Husband and I have a hard time installing a new one to limited range of motion. It is sad that such poor products are sold to us.

These seats are made of pressed wood and I've had two of them break at the unsupported spot (used by a heavy adult). There is no difference between the seat on the $6 model vs the $20 model.
