Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tailz28 great product at 1/2 the price of comps
Got this excellent ladder from HD for less than $50 shipped free. This is less than ½ of cost of comparable products. Nice wide steps and the indispensable paint/tool tray. Donât let the Skinny name deter you, plenty of width and stability for your home projects. Third step will get you above 8â for ceiling work with that all important grab rail for safety.
While the steel construction adds weight it provides excellent stability and is not difficult to move and store, but donât keep out of doors as steel will rust over time. Thanks HD for this great value!!

This ladder allows me to reach a 9 foot ceiling while standing on a large comfortable step. The tray holds a 1 gallon paint can and tools. It is easy to open and close and is very sturdy. Glad I bought this stool.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ciel6 Good for Petite Women Trying to Reach Tall Ceilings
I'm a petite woman, 5'2", and I can touch the top of a 9.5' ceiling while standing comfortably on the highest step with no fear (and I have a fear of heights). I like that it's a step stool more than a ladder because the steps can accommodate my entire foot/feet. It is a bit heavier than I would like, but the stability of the steps make it worth it. And it folds real skinny and is easy to store.

Heavier than expected - but this works well. Sturdy and reliable. I am average height and can easily reach a 9 ft. ceiling on the 3rd step. Searched a long time for a 4-step step stool at the right price. I am very happy with this product. I do wish Home Depot carried it in-store, as the shipping takes for freakin' ever, and shipping price adds quite a bit. A GREAT product for a fair price. Wish that everything was this way. I would recommend for women, elderly, and those who have a fear of ladders, as this little beauty doesn't feel like a ladder at all.

I needed to do some painting around the house; however I have a knee problem and regular ladders give me fits.
I saw this online because I could not find anything suitable in the store. I currently have a three step ladder but it was not tall enough.
Was I amazed at the quality, need I say for the price, and it has worked out wonderfully.
Tall enough and sturdy enough to do the high chores with no mess. It is a little heavier to carry than average step ladders, but not too bad. The only drawback is that the regular sized paint trays are a little larger than the tray holder, so you have to be careful if you want to use with a paint tray.
But it is wonderful and you don't heel wobbly on it at all!
