Now these panels are actually pretty great. They are light, thick, and score & snap pretty easily. When looking for a budget friendly shower/tub update, these are awesome. I attached them to a sub wall of masonry, using construction adhesive. They look good and should last quite some time. An optional trim kit would make them all the much better. I would recommend to anyone looking to update their shower walls and who do not want tile.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mack Great surround.
This surround is the best I've ever used, that would be around 5 of them. It went up easy, the instructions are clear and it's thick. Helps conceal small imperfections in your wall, we put up sheetrock and there were some small imperfections that the surround hid well. I was installing a 32" whirlpool tub most surrounds are for the standard 30" tub. this one is somewhat adjustable making it easy to fit different sized tubs. I used Power Grab Tub Surround Construction Adhesive and didn't need to put up supports, it grabbed great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CMHall Very glossy, look great as a tub wall upgrade or replacement, but needs trim
Really good looking walls with nice shelving though a bit narrow. These replaced some very old, dirty plastic walls and these new ones are a much thicker and nicer looking quality. The only problem is that you really should purchase some plastic trim for the walls as they look very unfinished and sharp otherwise. I used a rounded plastic thin white trim which made the walls look so much better at the end. Also the trim covered the last bit of walls that needed covering when my plumber removed the old walls.
The walls needed a bit more acrylic than the box recommended (one more tub should do it) and the top edges left ledges which would have collected water. The trim helped reduce that (see photo for trim around top and sides that was purchased separately and added).
Walls are so glossy, they act as mirrors almost and make it look super clean and bright in the tub area which I liked a lot. I was also able to install grab bars on top without cracking, dents or tears. The glossiness though does show water spots so using a squeegee after use helps prevent that.

This is a solid bathtub surround. This is the second one I have purchased. It is fast an easy to install. The most difficult part is drilling out the holes for the faucet. To make this easier, use the box that the surround comes in as a template. Cut the box to replicate one of the three solid wall panels then push it up against the faucet wall to mark the location and then cut to fit wall and use this cutout as a template on the plastic wall panel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rfalk Excellent surround replacement
My bathroom walls are not truly straight and the left wall is shorter than the right wall. If you have this type of scenario then you will need this 5 piece style of surround. I recommend that you do the dry fit first with tape so you know if you have to trim the walls. I used a box cutter to trim and it worked great.
The surround looks great and is sturdier than I expected. The shelves are holding up fine with heavy shampoo bottles on them. I'm really happy with this surround.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by neverstop Easy and looks good
The only cutting I had to do was of course the holes I drilled for the plumbing fixture. I loved the thicker material. It was easy to apply to the wall just make sure you have a level line across the top to match up with and it all falls into place. I used the quick grab adhesive that comes in a tube for a caulking gun, it gave me plenty of time to apply the wall panels and actually adjust them to fit right but still grabs good enough that you can let go after just a couple of minutes and move to the next panel. I only wished that this kit comes with trim to cover the edges. It looks okay but I would pay the money for a trim kit to make it blend into the wall.

This is a good product. I've used it about a dozen times and each time, I learn a few more little "tricks" to make it look better and better..I highly recommend it for new construction, and on older replacement projects, it stands up to other brands. One tip: pre-fit based on the bottom of the surround rather than on the verticle edges...it helps with sealing it and improves the look

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by homeowner better then I expected
expected it to be thin plastic because of the flimsy reviews but it was much thicker then I was lead to believe it is some what flimsy but that is to form to walls in old homes such as mine I have a window so I had to cut a opening this surround with the 5 piece it was a easy task worked well for my needs and looks good installed I did put spray in foam in the shelves just made good sense
